Do you like who you are today? If you do then you can’t really say you’d do anything major differently if you had the chance. Cuz then you wouldn’t be you, right? You’re you because of ALL your experiences good and bad throughout your life. waytogo

Not many regrets in my rear view mirror. But if I could re—do a few things, I would treat a few people better, listen more, hold less grudges, and asked more girls to dance…

Two best replies right there. My life is pretty darn good right now. Sometimes I’ve pondered what ifs and I come back to I wouldn’t be married to the woman that I am and my kids wouldn’t exist. My answer is I wouldn’t do anything to change where I am now. However I wouldn’t have scoffed at Bitcoin.

I think we are a culmination of our learned experiences. I don’t look back and say what if because changing my past would change who I became. You have to make the mistakes and go through the journey to appreciate how far you’ve come.

Yep – spend more time fishing with grandpa. Spend more time doing what I liked to do instead of trying to fit in playing basketball or running track . Should have spent that time on the water or in the woods .

I played 3 sports all through community youth, school sponsored teams, various traveling teams, and all through as a varsity athlete.

Those experiences are easily THE hardest things to relive or replicate once they’re done. I’ll hunt and fish for decades longer, not to mention I was able to usually fit that stuff in too with sports

Don’t have many regrets. Couple of fist fights I should have walked away from….

In 1980 I wish I knew people would pay $2 for a bottle of water and $5 for a cup of coffee in the future. Water was free and coffee was .25 cents a cup most everywhere back then. That would have been life changing advice I probably would have ignored.

I think time spent with Grandpa fishing would be harder to replicate. There is always pickleball fame to strive for.

A do over ? We get no such thing . We hopefully learn something as we go along in life . All we have is today, yesterday is gone ,tomorrow is not here . Live for today that’s all we have .

I wish I would have protected my hearing better when I was younger.

I preach and force and push and shove guys at work and my own kids about how important hearing protection really is.

Nobody did that to me and I really wish they would have.

We used to wash our hands in the parts cleaners when I was wrenching on cars. Worked great but your hands would tingle for awhile afterwards. I can’t believe that was good.

We built road race and high performance cars…I don’t remember ever wearing hearing protection when those cars were running in the shop or when we were at the race track.
