He posted in the classifieds about giving equipment to kids.
I had already met him once but again got the pleasure to meet him. He went through lots of extra gear he had on his shelves and gave my son random boxes with all sorts of stuff. With the stipulations that he only takes what he will use and not to sell things.
My son took it all tonight and organized everything in to 1 box. He was and is so happy.
Besides the fact I wont rush him to the lake right now.

Thank you dutch you made this kids day, night, and week. He said he never has to or wants to use my stuff, he has his own

For who ever hasn’t met him he is very pleasant company. Im personally not a big ” people ” person and typically avoid meeting new people but he was very welcoming and we held great conversation. Very nice guy. We didn’t talk sports lol. I love my sports. But I dont know as much as some of you guys.
In the end he made my kids day, and today after my son and i went through and organized he was such a happy camper it made me smile.
Dutch is what I consider a friend but a distant friend. We don’t know each other from anything. But do to ido we are friends and hopefully one day fishing partners.
Its great to have a site like this to meet other people like this
And I just want to say again A BIG THANK YOU for making my kids day and more then that even

The kid made off like a bandit. There had to be over $50 in brand new baits. Heck I had 3 big (Pike Muskie) spinner baits that had never been out of the package. jester

Great kid and I know he will enjoy them.

I hope the camping gear dad got works. wink

I’ll answer. Not much to hide. wink Haven’t found anything yet. Kab. is in play, Rainy, Rainy River.

I learned years ago never to rule anything out. Might even end up on the Mississippi or Croix. If the location works and the price works I’ll take a look. grin
