Sat and Sun May 26 and 27th I was joined in the boat by father and son Joe and Tim Schutts. Unfortunately, mother nature again determined our destiny and strong NW winds didnt allow us to fish on Sunday. Saturday morning Joe and Tim worked hard in the shallows for some nice fish. Joe started the day with a solid 4 lber on a Rapala DT-6 crankbait and Tim ended the day losing a fish that was easily in the 6 lb plus category on a YUM Dinger. In between Dad had the hotter hand and landed 3 fish in the 5 lb range. All his fish were on All Terrain swim jigs. Here are a couple pics of Joe and Tim. Tim has to come back and try to find the really large smallie that he had all the way to the boat and came unbuttoned. Thank you to Jeff and Tim!!!

Thanks for the report Chris…Hope we can get together in a couple weeks!

My first Smallie trip is next Saturday on LBDN I’m hoping to do as well but the weather looks iffy all week!
