Well, I really hope the cold weather sticks around for a bit longer now, as we finally are building our ice back to where it should be.. Made it out today to check ice conditions off Ashland, and as the video tells, found ice from 2 to 5 inches in spots right out in front of Ashland. This ice extends out to the Lighthouse and to the south of Bono Creek and over to the east, meeting a line of old ice, that has stuck around for a bit. With that in mind, and having some snow on the ice, folks have to becareful out there. Check conditions as you go out yourself..
Didnt do much fishing, as we were just looking for ice to fish on tomorrow with clients – but did punch a few holes and beat-up on some Smallies!! They are always fun through the ice!!
