Here’s the announcement many have been waiting for!

Your host Josh, Aka Suckerslayer has all the details and here they are!

    Hi All,

We are starting to organize a bowfishing GTG on May 1st out of Evert’s Resort. Our plan is to make this a fun, low stress event that everyone is welcome to show up, have a good time and get a crack at some fish.

To keep the organizational ball rolling we would like to start a roll call of who might attend and what you have for equipment that you have and any extra you are willing to bring and share. Not much is needed a bow(almost any bow will do) bowfishing reel, line, and a fiberglass arrow or two and a fishing license.

I will be bringing my boat and two bows set up and ready to go.

Hope to see you all there!
    Josh

If you’ve never tried bowfishing before, this would be a great time to get your feet wet!

Since I didn’t get invited to any house warming…I’ll be there to see what this is all about!

I now have a bow, so looks like ya can count me in, not sure on the guy from work, but if he doesn’t come I’ll have room in my boat for someone.

We will have some plastic barrels for fish. I think BK is looking for someone to bring buns or plates, we will have to check with him on that. We will know more when we get closer.

As far as times I was thinking 9ish for a start and quit whenever your arm gets to tired to draw your bow.

There is a rumor going around that there is a band playing in Hastings that night, but I’m not sure if it is true.

Starts about 9 am, goes as long as you want to, but I think there will be brats and stuff sometime during the day.

I’m hoping someone from Lino Lakes Bowfishing club will come down and both join us and promote their club.

Suckerslayer is the man in charge for all this.

I know of two boats that are going to stay and shoot at night.

I have been scouting this week and with zero visibility and low numbers we are calling off the GTG at this time. We will try again next year. I hope nobody is put out, but I don’t want to have people show up and get skunked. I hope you all understand.

    Sorry
