Going through some old pics and found this one. I shot it about 4 years ago. I believe it was about 36″ long and around 30 pounds.

Nice fish, just curious, what do you do with them?

We catch them with rod and reels and put them in garbage bags and throw away, or give to other fishermen

I plan to smoke a few carp on the grill this year. Last year I smoked some sheephead and they were very good.

dont forget that in the spring, spawning rough fish of all kinds are easy pickins’ for bowfishing. practice up on some sheepies, redhorse, sucker, quillbacks, doggies, buffalo, pout and gar in addition to murdering those asian carp monkeybutts
