Been hitting the Cedar a fair amount lately, this past weekend I fished both Sunday and Monday morning. Sunday I caught good numbers, Monday I probably had as many bites but a lot of swatters that didn’t hook up and never made it to the boat.
Monday did hold two legitimate giants (by any Iowa standard, let alone Cedar River standards), though Sunday I did catch the mother of all crappies flipping laydowns with a half oz bass jig and a craw trailer.
