This year I’ve had 3 or 4 invoices kicked back to me for not having the Clients 9 digit zip code on them. Anyone else seeing this?
I hope this is an isolated situation, I don’t want to be chasing down every ones 9 digit code. flame

Nope. I sell a bunch of crap on ebay and never have seen that issue.

For some stupid reason, there are 3 towns where I live with the same zip code. When I fill out online forms with autofill it inserts one town that isn’t mine, some times I’m unable to change it. Maybe other states have done similar stupid things and the last 4 digits make a difference there.

Ironic, you send a check to the same address and it will not be kicked back.

Only time I have an issue is commercial projects with different P.O. Boxes for receivables and payable

I live in Lake St Croix Beach with a zip of 55042
The closest Post Office is Afton.
    Our Post Office is Lakeland.

If I use the Lake St Croix Beach address, then give the 55042 zip code it tosses up an error most times saying that zipper is for Lakeland.

Oh yeah, we send invoices and reports to Fire Depts.
In a town of 400, if the street address is one number off, we’ve had the letter returned to us…like there’s more then one Fire Department in a town of 400??

Here is one to make you think. I live just outside the City limits of Rochester. The city has an extra .5% sales tax. If I order online and only use the 5 digit code it will call me Rochester and I get charged tax I should not. The extra 4 digits say i’m outside the city. I have contacted vendors for tax refunds or correction and I have a letter from the City saying I do not live in the limits and should not be charged. Some do and some do not. Sure it only amounts to minor change on most stuff. But I get stubborn sometimes. And my question is if they collect tax that I shouldn’t pay who gets the money?? The vendor, the State or the City? Ok off my soapbox

It goes to my secret off shore account. Quit being so stubborn, it’s my retirement you are messing with.
