I need to re-spool 6 lead rods this year and I’m debating going with traditional or Suffix 832.

I’ve used 832 in the past and really liked it, except the lead poking through the dacron all the time. Has this improved any?

That has been what keeps me away too, the lead mixture they use is cheap and brittle. Also from what I recall the willis knot is tough to tie too due to the weave of the sheath being very loose.

Interisted in if they have a better lead yet also.

This is my experience exactly, but with Suffix Performance Leadcore, not with the 832 Advanced.
