678C HD DI Dash Mount

    Good evening all,

    I just got a good deal on a 678C HD DI and plan on dash mounting it in the front of my bass boat. The humminbird site says I need to use the IDMK700E mounting kit (the “E” stands for ethernet). First of all, I don’t plan on connecting it to an ethernet cable.

    My question is, will the IDMK700 mounting kit work? It’s cheaper than the other one.
