That was in about a 25 mile stretch. Just seemed like a lot, although I know there are alot more then that up there. Was just a casual observation. Didn’t mean to turn it into a conversation on the morality and spending of America.

BTW, the lesson learned during the last recession was……

1) If you are upside down on a loan just give it back. They will refinance you again in a few years.

2) The banks don’t take the hit, the taxpayers do.

I certainly love my toys, BUT: These days, I must be getting old or, worse, actin like a grown up. I look at a wheelhouse, (or a new glass boat) and think, “Sure, I can MAKE the payments. But do I WANT to?”. I’ve become a happy consumer of used equipment, a FEW less electronic bells and whistles, and much more relaxed and happy with them while I use them.
