Got out on the east side from 4:30-9:15 yesterday. We pulled crawler harnesses in 28-32 fow and managed to get 20+ fish, 7 that were over 25”. Brought some leeches but never used them. Best color was copper boy-girl (or at least that is what we call it).

Thank you, I’m heading up on Sunday with my brother-in-law. He’s from New Jersey and I want to get him on a good walleye bite!

I will be back out tomorrow and will post another report. We talked to a few guys that looked to be pulling lindy rigs with a leech and they did not seem to do as well as we did, so I would stick to crawlers.

Also, with it being overcast the sunset was awesome.

Pulling harness along edge of flats at that depth or across the tops of the flats? My fish (granted this is west side of the lake) have been really structure oriented so far this year. I need to be in transition area or right on the break of reefs and things. Have not ventured out to the mud flats yet

I was focusing on the edges. I ventured up on top of a few reefs and did not do really well.

I was out all day Friday 6/22 and found most fish on the top edge to all over the top of the flats. Noticeably fewer fish on the lower edge and off the flats. I was on an east side flat.

    Spinner/crawler was better than spinner/leech.
