We went down and looked at the ramp this afternoon. There were five trailers in the parking lot, the barricades are still across the road, and there were two SSP Police officers parked by the barricades. I asked the officer when they would expect the ramp to open and they didn’t know. He did say it isn’t tied to river level but rather the condition of the ramp. Right now the dock has been pushed to the south, across the one ramp. The cement divider is still under water and hard to see. There’s about 4 inches of dried mud all over the place, along with rocks and logs. It’s going to take some work to get it all cleaned up and straighten out that dock. Basically the ramp is considered closed because of the condition it’s in.

The river looked good, up about 2 feet over normal pool and not a lot of wood coming down.

Ramp at hidden falls is good. We were down there and water is still high but ramp is usable.

Now, all the cars taking the trailer spots is a different issue.

A friend of mine works for the city of S St Paul and he was told they will be cleaning up the launch to a usable condition this week.

I was out last evening and the current is still clipping along pretty darn good and the clarity was inches at best.

Reminded me of fishing the MN river near Mankato. After waters receded you brought a shovel to remove the mud! Sketchy to say the least!
