I bought a set of these for my four wheeler last year and they worked great for plowing in deep snow. I sold the wheeler and bought a ranger this year and it needed to wheels, so I bought another set of these tires for the SxS. The size I bought for the SxS was bigger than the ones I got for my atv, but same tire otherwise.

Hard to beat a set of solid ATV tires for around $280. These also have pretty darn good reviews. Not often you find a product on amazon with almost 90% 5 star reviews.

Because they are luxury items, and not mass produced at the level car/truck tires are made. Plus, people pay the price, so why try to reduce cost and sell cheaper???

What do you want for performance out of the tires? Great snow tires suck for rocky trails. Great tires for durability in the woods and climbing logs suck in the snow. I suggest you buy for the predominant use and make do.

Same reason an 11lb propane tank is twice the price of a 20lb.

Rocky Mountain ATV. I’ve bought close to a dozen sets of ATV/UTV tires in the last few years and they are the easiest to work with. Plus if you buy wheels, they will mount for free and ship them to you ready to rock.

    Dennis Kirk isn’t bad either.

Dennis kirk is 7 miles from my house. But for most things I’ll shop else where. The scratch and dent store was where it was at
