Furthermore since California leads our country in sociol justice: if California bans all gated communities and/or any walls around Californian houses I will fully support open borders along with them.

I know this is a running joke from midwesterners, especially conservatives, but in my experience, just about anyone I’ve ever met from California is just as likeable as anyone from Minnesota.

Shortly after my dad retired he’d spend a month or two during the winter out in the San Diego area. After a few years, he finally moved out there year ’round settling in La Jolla.

He lived the majority of his life in the Midwest and after moving out there, not once did I ever hear him complain about how the people there were “different” in any kind of bad way. In fact not that much different if at tall. I agree that a lot of people like to “stereotype” and California seems to be an easy target for some people.

The many times I was fortunate to go out and visit my dad, I always enjoyed my time out there visiting both the culture and people, as well as the many attractions of which we have nothing to compare here in the middle of the country.

So, there’s a guy I know who lives out there that his HOA is trying to go after him for animal cruelty…for shooting (archery) at 3D ANIMAL TARGETS! 3D. FAKE. ANIMAL. TARGETS!

    No joke.

Buy electric. The technology is there, it just needs to be refined.

Seen quite a few licensed Golf carts on the roads while we were there, in fact they were available to rent also.

Minnesota is well on its way to becoming another California already.

Closer to another Somalia then California…either way it’s regression.

This kinda comment should get someone banned.

It really should but it won’t.

I vacationed for a week in San Diego a few years ago. Stayed in the Gaslight district and we had a great time. I loved the weather and the single season they have there lol. I know a guy who was trying to become a police officer out there. Said the department parking lot had some RVs and campers in it that the guys would stay in during their days on because they had to live so far out of the city to find anything remotely affordable.

Never been to California, but can’t imagine not living in Minnesota. Although even here the cities is a lot different. I live 60miles north and cant believe the difference between some people in the cities versus outstaters. A couple weeks ago ran the twin cities race and at 645 while being dropped off like many other people at 645 downtown some cars felt the need to honk at people. Really irritated me. 645 on a sunday and your honking. Wouldn’t happen in a small town people would recognize you and you would t live it down. The cities gets under my skin. I fell California would be similar.
