    3rd Annual Fundraising Banquet

    Thursday, April 28th, 2016

    Appetizers & Drinks served by Al & Alma’s Supper Club

    Tickets: $20 Raffle Tickets can be purchased at local sporting goods retailers: Cabin Fever, Shoreline BP, Wayzata Bait and Tackle, DH, or via TonkaFishing, LLC.

    EVERY $20 TICKET SOLD WILL STOCK TEN 8″-13″ WALLEYE IN LAKE MINNETONKA!

    Prizes:

    1st Prize: Aqua-Vu Micro Plus DVR Underwater Camera donated by Aqua-Vu
    2nd Prize: MarCum LX-5i Dual Beam True Color Sonar System donated by MarCum
    3rd Prize: Otter XTH Lodge Hub Ice Shelter with Otter Sled donated by Otter Outdoors

    Just curious of how many they have stocked over the years and whats the survival rate? Are most of the fish getting to where they are getting big enough to catch?

    Very cool program he started. I saw a TV show on it one time a year or two ago I think.

    Is there a cost to attend the banquet? Is the $20 raffle ticket just for the raffle and I assume do not need to be present to win..??

    Westonka Walleye Program Timeline

    March 2013: Westonka Walleye Program is founded.

    April 2013: W.W.P. negotiated permitting with DNR to stock yearling walleyes in North West basins of Lake Minnetonka.

    472FISH.com launched and W.W.P. becomes licensed with MN Secretary of State.

    Fall 2013: Raised $7,500 to stock 3,ooo yearling walleye 8-13″, (420 lbs)

    Spring 2014: APRIL 24 2014 BANQUET AT LORD FLETCHERS!!! Raised over $20,000 for Fall 2014 stocking.

    Fall 2014: Stocked 10,000 8-13″ walleye is several NW bays of Lake Minnetonka. (1,500 lbs)

    Spring 2015: April 30 2015 BANQUET AT GILLESPIE CENTER!!! We raised over $25,000

    Summer 2015: Kids fishing contest

    Fall 2015 Stocked 13,000 8-13″ walleye is several NW bays of Lake Minnetonka. (1,800 lbs)

    Spring 2016: April 28 2016 BANQUET AT GILLESPIE CENTER!!! We hope to raise $40,000

    Fall 2016 We hope to raise enough money to match the DNR in pounds of walleye stocked in Lake Minnetonka.

    We plan on making sure Lake Minnetonka’s walleye population is strong for years to come.
