3m 4200 or 5200

I’m re-attaching my transom transducer mounting board to my aluminum boat. I plan on driving 2 Stainless Steel screws through the board into the transom and also using either 3m 4200 or 5200 sealant in the screw holes as well as on the face of the mounting board. I understand that 5200 is more or less permanent, and 4200 can be removed. Is that really the only difference? Those of you who have put these plates on, what did you use?

Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

5200 has to be able to cure for some time. They do have a quick cure formula of 5200 I just saw at gander outdoors in EP, imagine also have it at overtons in Rogers.

Bilge, drain holes, etc got 5200 when I redid mine this winter. The rest just got home Depot PL Marine sealant suitable for above/below waterline.

Shoe goo and no screws, huh? The same stuff I used to slather on the toe of my DC skate shoes to extend their life?
