looking to put on a 360 on a MX 2025. have a port kicker with a starboard transom boarding ladder (thanks SBC for selling us the ladder the wife loves it) can I go with a transom mount 360 or do I have to use the trolling motor mount. I have a fortex on the trolling motor currently but looking to change to an ultera (do they make an aftermarket mount for the Ultera). any help appreciated .
To start with. I am not aware of a aftermarket bracket that works for the bow 360 for the terrova or ulterra, yet. I know a few people working on them but nothing has came out yet.
As for mounting to the transom, couple options. First option would be the minn kota universal mount for talon/360. That is going to be hard to use being you have the kicker and ladder but it does have a lot of adjustments so it may work. The other option would be to bolt it straight to the transom. Depending on exactly where the ladder is mounted you may be able to mount it between the engine and the ladder or possibly on the outside edge of the ladder.
Hard to say what may or may not work without holding a 360 up to the boat and seeing how it looks.
There is a company that is making a piece to have the 360 bow fit on the Terrova. I thought I had saved the link to the site but I didn`t evidently. Did a few google searches and cannot seem to find it back. When I do I will post it up.
Found the link they had a picture on there web sight but now I cannot find the information. May want to Email or call these guys about the adapter. Price was $250
