Back in the late 1970s, my father hand loaded 30-40 Krag for an elderly widow who sat in a deer stand in the shelter belt behind her farm. Krag ammo was getting hard to find back then, so dad kept her supplied as long as she brought the cases back. She shot no more than 5 times per year, 3 times at a target to make sure the sights were still on…
