3 day fishing trip for bass/northern?

For the past few years my daughter and I have gone to Ashland and fished smallies with some success. I am thinking of going somewhere new this year. Where would you go?

I’d like a place where we can stay on The water, not urban or littered with jet skis etc.

Was thinking Rainy Lake since I have been there many times but it’s a hike to get there.

We live in Eau Claire Wisconsin and would like to Stay within 3-4 hour drive.

Would love to be on northern and bass all day.

I would be looking ens of July to August.

Not as far as Rainy but Pelican in Orr would work for you.

Hayward or Minocqua are close.

The little motel in town is clean and priced right. The other option is Overtons if you need a pool & stuff.
