Need a little help deciphering sonar units and what’s what. Guessing this will be the first among several posts to help me make up my mind.
Question: Is there a difference in HB’s 2D sonar between units and/or years? What I’m getting at is there a difference between my 2013 597ci hd di and say a brand new 999ci hd si or Onyx with SI?
I’ve been following the other conversations about rebates and Onyx. My spring debate is do I add side imaging? Do I keep my 597 for 2D, extra screen space, DI? Do I sell my 597 to raise cash and clear space for say a 999 with si?
The real answer is don’t spend the money since I don’t really need it but what fun is that
