28 inch rod in Clam Scout TC?

    I have always fished 24 inch rods in my one man clam scout tc. Looking to buy a 28 inch tucr quick tip and just want to be sure the 28 inch rod works inside the one man okay. Please let me know if any of you have fished a 28 inch rod with this setup. Thanks!

    You should have enough room. Most of the newer shacks have a longer front fishing area. By the footprint it seems like the old FishTrap guide, and that you can fish a 28″ out of fine.

    28in is the max I go in my Scout TC and is the perfect fit.

    I use a 30″ in mine all the time. I see no problems.
