Can I buy just the power head and batteries ? I bought the 6 inch lite flight from here and yesterday found a 50 percent off deal on the 8 inch lite flite. So I have no need for the entire auger kit. Hoping I can find a way to buy the power head only, or am I better off putting the clam plate on my drill?

Check with D rock they used to sell power heads but they usually were used to drill at the jaycees and then they would sell them worth a call however.

    I use my drill however.

Nope. No Powerhead only from what I have seen, and it being new that would make sense

Is that deal at a store? My buddy is looking for a 8″ lite flite.

Love my lite flite. Guy on the lake the other day with a kdrill made a comment after he watched me zip through 3” of ice as about as fast as the drill spun up. Normally I dont care about all the auger wars, but I got a chuckle out of that.

For a concrete cutter like you I would had guessed you’d have power tools laying around. In less than 10-12” ice I use my Milwaukee. More than that it goes on my 40v power head.

I emailed rapala a few weeks ago and they said the auger will be sold as a combo only
