Just curious of onboard charger placement on everyones 205’s. There doesnt appear to be easy routing of cables from the front compartments to the battery storage area
I have a Competitor 205 Tiller and the battery charger is mounted in the compartment in the floor. The charger is attached against the front wall of that compartment. The cord comes out at the back of the front deck. Everything is out of site and out of the way. The storage tray is still usable in that compartment too.
I bought my boat from LaCannes and they took care of all of the rigging.
You can still use all 3 tray holders? When I looked at that option I would only have room for 1 tray after charger is installed. Are you able to send a few pics of how it is rigged. Not sure I quite understand
After a little texting with a fellow 205 Tiller owner my install is complete. Routing of wiring was super easy and quick access to the charger in this location made it a snap! I spaced the charger from the aluminum with 1/4″ rubber washers. Still have to stain and seal the plywood but thought i would share. Thanks all who contributed
-25 up here in Canada and getting cabin fever. Thought I would show the finished product. Had our local deck guys wrap the mounting board in vinyl. Cheers
