    Nice fish.

I had to look it up. Tobin Lake is 972 miles from my front door. I’m not going to make it there this year.

Been fishing Tobin in the fall for many years. As good of a walleye lake it is, we mostly target BIG pike. We do catch a few bigger walleyes each year on large pike baits. It would be fun to fish it in the winter some day.

It doesn’t look like they have much snow there right now. How is the ice thickness. Can you drive almost anywhere in a truck?

Was 15″ where we were. Some snow but cars can drive out on it since we haven’t got much snow this year. It’s been a warm fall so guys aren’t driving in the middle of the lake yet since some areas were only 8″. It should be good now though since we had 1 week of minus 30 to minus 20.

I know some of my friends been out to the flats already but no big jacks yet.
