I would assume the Vikings were shopping the pick given that Dart and Sanders were still on the board…but probably didn’t find the offer they were hoping for and went with a relatively “safe” pick in interior OL.
The Vikes turned their pick in before Goodell had finished announcing the GB pick, so I’m guessing they had no interest from anyone trading up and they really liked their guy. Can’t say I have any idea about him individually. But I like that he can play more than 1 position, so whether it’s him or Brandel backing up they both have that flexibility. Bonus points for the Randell McDaniel-esque stance too!
