They showed a few shots of the stadium/fans today. I know it’s against the White Sox, a weekday game, cooler and rainy. There couldn’t be more than 3,000 fans today.

I couldn’t be happier for the Pohlads, these numbers are what they deserve.
Chicago broke their 14 game Target Field losing streak with the rain shortened win today.

April 24, 2025 at 7:37 pm #2332180So long Rocco????
What will it take?Being 10 games behind.
This isn’t all Roccos fault but he has some blame. For me it’s Falvey and what he gave Rocco to work with PLUS the style they decided to play. But the Pohlads will never fire Falvey so…………….April 24, 2025 at 8:33 pm #2332190They showed a few shots of the stadium/fans today. The box score indicates paid attendance of 12,414 today.
I’m sure a lot of people left early when it started raining though.

Does that count season ticket holders, of any sort?

It counts people who physically entered the stadium, is my understanding.
I’m sure a lot of tickets that are sold don’t get used these days.
April 25, 2025 at 9:57 am #2332289The stadium shots I saw were early in the game, the first 3 innings. If 12,000 people entered the stadium they must have been in suites, bars/restaurants or the mezzanine. They weren’t in the seats.

[/quote]I’m pretty sure I heard from Aaron Gleeman this week that the attendance posted is now the amount of tickets sold, not the physical entrance numbers. This is different than previous years.

Certainly could be possible
If that’s the case, we’ll never really know the actual numbers that attend the games. I’m sure a heck of a lot of people or companies buy tickets for games and never attend them all season long.
April 25, 2025 at 1:21 pm #2332323It’s season tickets sold, plus walk ups. Any group tickets are counted like season tickets. Yesterday had school kids. I don’t know if each had a ticket when they walked in or if it was a group sale.
April 25, 2025 at 8:28 pm #2332353Twins blasting the Angels 9-2 in the bottom of 5th.
Does anybody else think all these jersey’s look stupid? I like the plain pin stripes.
April 25, 2025 at 8:47 pm #2332358I hope those who hate Buxton get a chance to watch him when he’s healthy. Another homerun and triple tonight. The guy can flat out fly when healthy. 11-3 bottom of 6.

Twins rookie infielder Luke Keaschall suffered a non-displaced fracture in his right forearm during tonight’s win over the Angels.
Feel bad for him. Hope he returns quickly.

Keyword is when. Guy is 31 and has played 100 games in a season twice in 10 years. No doubt he has talent but he hasn’t played more than 103 games since 2017. For his sake hopefully he can stay on the field this year.
April 27, 2025 at 9:59 am #2332514Why do I care what he has done in the past? Is living in the past fun? I care about today and tomorrow and the next day. For now he is healthy and fun to watch.
6 games behind Detroit and playing a little better.

I don’t think anyone hates Buxton. But it is frustrating that he’s been hurt for most of his prime.
April 27, 2025 at 2:23 pm #2332528I can’t believe that they don’t have somebody that can hit better then Keirsey.
April 27, 2025 at 3:12 pm #23325395-0 win over the Angels. Ryan had 11 strike-outs. Correa 3-4 and Bader with the catch of the year so far.

Cleveland series this week could not be bigger in right sizing this ship …

Did I ever say you cared about what he did in the past? You made it sound like people hate Buxton because of the past.

A win is a win and they all count the same in the standings.

Rocco for coach of the year!
April 29, 2025 at 9:11 am #2332952it seems if I continue to forget the Twins exist they keep on winning, so lets go Wolves and Wild!
April 29, 2025 at 10:11 am #2332971Hank Conger former 1st base coach, now assistant bench coach for the Twins is laid up. He was impersonating Bader who sometimes backpedals to catch flyballs. The first attempt went well, the second not so well. Popped something in his calf and it looks like he’s in a boot hobbling around the dugout.

Can’t make that up. Even the coaches on this club can’t stay on the field…..
