They showed a few shots of the stadium/fans today. I know it’s against the White Sox, a weekday game, cooler and rainy. There couldn’t be more than 3,000 fans today.

I couldn’t be happier for the Pohlads, these numbers are what they deserve.

Chicago broke their 14 game Target Field losing streak with the rain shortened win today.

    Being 10 games behind.
This isn’t all Roccos fault but he has some blame. For me it’s Falvey and what he gave Rocco to work with PLUS the style they decided to play. But the Pohlads will never fire Falvey so…………….

The box score indicates paid attendance of 12,414 today.

I’m sure a lot of people left early when it started raining though.

Does that count season ticket holders, of any sort?

It counts people who physically entered the stadium, is my understanding.

I’m sure a lot of tickets that are sold don’t get used these days.

The stadium shots I saw were early in the game, the first 3 innings. If 12,000 people entered the stadium they must have been in suites, bars/restaurants or the mezzanine. They weren’t in the seats.

I’m pretty sure I heard from Aaron Gleeman this week that the attendance posted is now the amount of tickets sold, not the physical entrance numbers. This is different than previous years.

    Certainly could be possible

If that’s the case, we’ll never really know the actual numbers that attend the games. I’m sure a heck of a lot of people or companies buy tickets for games and never attend them all season long.

It’s season tickets sold, plus walk ups. Any group tickets are counted like season tickets. Yesterday had school kids. I don’t know if each had a ticket when they walked in or if it was a group sale.

Twins blasting the Angels 9-2 in the bottom of 5th.

Does anybody else think all these jersey’s look stupid? I like the plain pin stripes.

I hope those who hate Buxton get a chance to watch him when he’s healthy. Another homerun and triple tonight. The guy can flat out fly when healthy. 11-3 bottom of 6.

    Those uniforms are stupid.

Twins rookie infielder Luke Keaschall suffered a non-displaced fracture in his right forearm during tonight’s win over the Angels. shock Feel bad for him. Hope he returns quickly.

Keyword is when. Guy is 31 and has played 100 games in a season twice in 10 years. No doubt he has talent but he hasn’t played more than 103 games since 2017. For his sake hopefully he can stay on the field this year.
