What a meek effort from the Twins.

Buxton is just terrible but Correa might be worse.

Obviously way too early to get worried but I’ve been scratching my head a bit as I’ve heard a few pundits predict the Twins will be pretty good. Pitching should be decent but I struggle to see where this lineup is consistently going to put up many runs, even if Royce comes back soon and does well:

    Wallner
    Correa
    Buxton
    Larnach
    France
    Jeffers/Vazquez
    Castro
    Miranda
    Gasper/Bader/etc.

Wallner, Correa, and Buxton are a combined 0-24 these first two games. Yikes.

Look on the bright side for us Brewers and Twins fans: Only like 315 days until pitchers and catchers report for the 2026 season. The future is bright coffee

3 straight homeruns on 3 pitches to start the game…did I hear that right? 9 total homeruns by the Yankees? Yikes.

Love the big deal they made about changing their hitting approach and the way they are taking batting practice this season forcing them to hit the ball the other way. It’s obviously not translating into the games because they still flail away at anything that isn’t a fastball.

The regular Twins TV crew was broadcasting on twins tv. Sure glad I did not panic and buy the MLB package. It was running well on comcast (FIL) and on FUBO (my house).

The FOX crew seemed pretty StL homer …

Bottom of 3rd. I think we can call the start of the season 0-3. Twins trail 8-1.

Maybe the Twins should call the Mercy Rule coffee

We’re on spring break and I was chatting with a guy wearing a White Sox hat. I was gonna give him a hard time but I had to bite my tongue.

But, the division should be pretty bad again so who knows.

You do realize that three out of the final four teams standing in the American League were from the central last year, right?

The white sox were clearly pitiful and the Twins piled up a lot of wins against them. I wouldn’t count on that happening again.

They were all in the playoffs because they got 20 extra wins each from beating the White Sox. Didn’t make any of them good teams. Also, the Sox are going to be the worst team in the league again.

I think this will be Rocco’s last year.

The argument the central was good last is the same as saying the NFC north was the best in football football.

If all your teams get trounced in the playoffs it doesn’t matter.

Down 9-0 to the white sux after 3 innings. Trading in my world series tickets for front row seats to the draft party to see the Twins get the first pick.

White Sox must of got them instead of the Twins! 9-0 in the 4th. I see they have pulled Buxton already, hopefully he just needs to rest and is not hurt!

Paddack gave up a three run homer in the first and second innings and a two run homer in the third. rotflol
Twins are hitless after four innings.
Rocco pulled Buxton and Corea. Buxton looked like he might’ve hurt himself as he came down from jumping to try to catch one of the homers. Stay tuned.
    I feel for the announcers.

Jeffers already uses one. The bats started showing up last year, alot of guys already using them. It was a combination of talent, wind blowing out and terrible Brewer pitching.

Nice job by the Twins getting to 0-4. Getting shut out by the #4 Sux pitcher is quite the accomplishment. Night game tomarrow, maybe that will help.

Slow start to season will make this thread and the overall interest in the Twins die before we get to nice weather.

Zell won’t fire Rocco. Rocco was Falveys hand picked guy. Zell was Falveys hand picked guy. Falvey won’t fire Falvey as he really really likes the guy he sees in the mirror and thinks he’s the smartest guy in baseball. jester

Anyway, back to our quest on having less than 1.2 million fans.

sad that i’m going to the home opener and the only thing i’m looking forward to is the free stocking hat and hopefully sitting out in the sun getting some vitamin D, hopefully there’s 2 pro baseball teams that show up to watch…

Does anybody think the Pohlads understand how ugly this season could get?
