I have a chance to buy a hyd. jack plt with 5 1/2″ set back for a great price from a bass buddy of mine. wondering if it is worth switching out I have a 13 2025 with kicker and 300 offshore mostly running at 3600 elv. any suggestions welcome

thanks for the response, does it give you any speed increases. do you have issues with prop cavi. in a turn?

    Mann,
I ran one on a mx1825 & mx2025. Speed increase, perhaps slight at best. My sole purpose for having was low water running on the river. Since moving and no longer being on the river, I have not used one. If money is no object, go for it, but I sense you would be farther ahead having a second prop for rough water and a speed prop for flat water.
