Well math must not be a strong suit for Viking fans.
Jones 7M for 8 TD’s = $875,000/TD scored.
Jacobs 11.325M for 16TD’s = $707,812.50/TD
Just stop.

Should we do the math on the QB TD’s too. This is kind of fun.
I don’t understand football fans who spend even a single second caring about the cost of players. First off, if you think you have a nuanced understanding of the salary cap and pretend to understand the strategies being deployed by front offices across the league, that’s comical. All these “value” conversations tend to vastly over-simplify.
I could not care even a little bit less about the salary. trying to tabulate how much some billionaire a-hole had to pay an athlete per yard or per touchdown is just about the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Talk about taking a fun game and making it torture.
It’s not my money and it’s not yours so who cares? I’m not high on Jordan Love at the moment but IDGAF how much he’s paid. value means nothing to me as a fan. Value is something I think about at the grocery store or shopping for clothes. Ish.

One played on a team that had 3 more overall wins, 3 more divisional wins, and beat the other both times they played this season. Just stop.
To me paying 4 Million + $ a year less, Winning 3 more games, finishing higher in the division, and beating GB both times is Great Value. I will take it year after year.
You guys need to look at the bright side.
The Vikings broke records this year, the most notable and recent is no other team has lost more playoff games than the Vikings
Also the only time in “his-tree” a team with 14 wins lost a wildcard game

And yet both teams exited in the first round of the playoffs. I guess the Vikings should have won their game being the higher seeded team one would think. That was some great coaching at the end of the game though. Even the announcers thought so.
“The Vikings I assume are aware they’re down 18 points.” – Joe Buck
“I was kinda thinking the same thing.” – Troy Aikman
“I mean they’re running the ball, they’re slow to the line.” – Buck

They say people vote with their dollars, so on behalf of our great state I’d like to say thanks BMan and all you other Packers fans that choose to reside here!

X2 I hadn’t realized the Vikings made history last night. Good for them.

There you go Tlazer – You win the discussion with that one.
Wonder who will beat who on the golf courses cause that’s what a bunch will now be doing once locker rooms cleaned.
Lucky Bass****s.

Rams were the higher seed.
Let’s see how J Love progresses. There is plenty of film on the guy now. NFL is all about watching film history and developing schemes to take away the strengths. If a D-scheme works, the next teams follow suit until the OC and QB can adjust.
QB fans can hold onto last years playoff run if that helps, but it does not predict the future.

Rip, These packer guys are pretty slow. Hard to imagine a higher seeded team would be on the road for the playoffs, but I digress.
Darnold and KOC let Vikings fans down the last two games. Leave it at that.
Where Darnold ends up ?.. I think he lost quite a bit of cash equity over the last 2 games. His agent must be as much disappointed as Vikings fans.
Yes – both GB and Vikings are done, but as Thumper noted … we can at least relish in the fact that we swept the Packers.
The drunkest and ugliest women I have ever seen were Packer women (word used loosely) at US Bank. The woman behind us (two rows back thank god) a few years ago had passed out and peed her pants. I digress.

But did you see the video of the female packer fan in Philly getting berated by a drunk Eagles fan? Purely disgusting! Thankfully they found out who the douche was and he is banned for life from attending games. Pure goon and classless and not provoked. Poor gal.
As bad as everybody is proclaiming Darnold the fact is he will be making at least one million dollars per game to play football, nobody here will be. Nobody was ever comparing him to Brady, Mahomes or Montana. The kid did very well for himself this year.

You may want to add “and have never won a Super Bowl and probably never will”.
Vikings hate the Packers so bad, they refuse to play for the Lombardi trophy.
.
SKOL= Still Keep On Loosing…..

I just really appreciate you guys chiming in! I’m not even going to make fun of these statements, the jokes write themselves.

I’m not a big Cheesehead lover, but I’d take a run at that one!

That’s hilarious, but oh so true. 60 plus years in the NFL and nothing to show for it LOL. 14-3 this year and couldn’t make it out of the first round of the playoffs against a 10-7 team. The worst part for them was not that they lost, which was awesome from my perspective, but how badly they lost. They got blown out the whole game.
Bears game wasn’t important. Playoff game on the other hand was.
Interesting.
The Minnesota Vikings made the playoffs after going 14-3 in 2024. Although their free-agent acquisitions made significant impacts, the same couldn’t be said about their rookie class. According to Pro Football Focus, Vikings rookies took 464 combined snaps on offense and defense, the fewest in the NFL. For comparison, the Los Angeles Rams rookie class took 4,864.
Anyone listen to Dan Barreiro on KFAN? I’m not a Viking fan at all but I really like Cam Bynum when he has been on air with Dan this past season. Sounds like a really good guy and a good teammate.
I listen to bumper to bumper with Dan regularly.
Now that my horse is out, I’ve got new one(s).
Lions and Bills would be a kick ass super bowl. Neither team has won one. They played a month ago and it was like watching a video game.
Please not the Chiefs and/or Eagles.

I would not mind that matchup. Right now the Bills would have to get past Baltimore and then most likely the Chiefs. That’s a tall task. There is no way I could ever bet against KC. Until they get knocked off, they are still the team to beat.
