Jones is all about marketing. That comes either with a big name or lots of wins. Zimmer brings neither.

I think Philly is very beatable.

Based on what I saw yesterday, I think they are a slightly easier opponent than Detroit. Hurts didn’t look great. But he also hadn’t played in 2+ weeks either because of a concussion.

Based on what I saw yesterday I feel Philly is far easier opponent than Detroit. I;d much rather play Philly than Detroit. But first things first.

    LOL

I knew a bunch of comedic reactions would follow if I made a post about Zim. Mission accomplished!

Mike McCarthy is out in Dallas. Mike Zimmer is rumored to be his replacement.

Not a chance in hell. If he is Jerry Jones is a bigger idiot than I already think he is

I’ve still got a wager on the Vikes tonight.

The Rams have put up 13, 19, and 12 points in their last 3 weeks. That’s pretty brutal by today’s NFL standards.

Had they somehow played this game in LA with the embers in the background, dramatic footage at every chance, the Rams may have had the biggest homefield advantage they’ve ever had. Now that this game is in AZ with nothing more than a painted over field in a stadium filled with lackluster Cardinals branding everywhere…there’s no advantage.

    Vikes by 8.

    Vikings will roll Philly.

After that it’s on to the NFC Championship in Detroit…and everyone who overuses cliche phrases will remind us just how “hard it is to beat a team 3 times.”

Which AFC opponent would you like the Vikings to face in the SB (if they make it)? I think the Ravens or KC would be fun to beat on the big stage.

Sheesh Bucky, feeling optimistic are we?

AFC, I like Buffalo. Don’t think Houston has much of a chance. The Bills have been good for years and deserve a shot to reverse their 0-4 super bowl record.

I like how everyone is talking about the Vikings next game and even beyond that, like tonight game is a given. With this Vikings team no game is a given. All depends on what Vikings team shows up to play. Hope its the better one.

What are you basing that off? I’d say between this website, conversations at work, with family and friends, and national media coverage, I’m not seeing many look past this game. Not to say it doesn’t happen but I don’t get that vibe.

As a lifelong Twins, Wild, and Vikings fan (you could even throw the wolves in because they play in the state i pay taxes to) i would love the experience of losing a super bowl.

You must be seeing and hearing different things around you than I am. That is sure the Vibe I’m seeing and hearing, Lots of Homers around this sight and plenty of others. Lots of talk about playing Philly next week and who we’d like to play after that. As one of those homers I’d sure like it if we had those games to have to think about.

Win or lose I PROMISE you will be sick of hearing about the LA fires by the end of the game. The NFL is like a dog on a bone when they can spin the PR their way.

KOC and Uncle Sam broke my trust in them last week. Now, I am back to square one with the pretty boy coach who isn’t tough enough to win in the playoffs. KOC and Sam have to prove they can do it. Paint me as skeptical that the Vikes come out with a win, even though I think they are the superior team.

Flores is gonna need to dial up something different. The defense needs to play more press coverage instead of giving these WRs so much space in zone defense.

If they can’t get pressure with their fake blitz then try to drop back into coverage look Stafford gonna eat them apart in the 10-20 yard zone

Big series here for the Viking defense. They can’t give up a touchdown.

If thats not a fumble how is it not in the grasp and a fricken sack. If someone came in and hit him again it would be roughing.

Ok…. That was NOT a forward pass by Stafford. WTF seriously.

The NFL has gotten WAY too lenient on QBs in regards to that.

Stafford literally dropped the ball, albeit perhaps dropping it in a forward motion.

What a huge turn of events.
That play might be tough to overcome.
