Are those odds before or after they added Daniel Jones to the active roster?

Are they gonna bench Darnold for Jones?

Have to get the 3rd pick for activating him.

Big part of it but it’s not that plain and simple. If we want to make it in the post season, we have some special teams issues to wrestle with – missed kicks aside, the kick out-of-bounds was inexcusable.

And beyond the red zone, the O-line got dominated – which is always a festering issue with us. Sam was under constant pressure and we clearly didn’t plan for Detroit to bring a blitz and trust a 2nd & 3rd string secondary in man-to-man situations. Watch for the Rams to do more of the same. We were exposed

Sure it is punch it in 2 times had 4 chances. Different game. Agree on the kicker but sticking to the course there.

Yeah the Rams have watched that game tape on steady repeat and will go for the Achilles heel. This next game is where we get to see how the vikings offensive coaches try and fix the gameplan. And hopefully Sam has settled down, and Reichard not sure what went on there. Is the injury lingering or is it mental. Either way he’s the kicker they gotta roll with.

pretty sure the Vikings are aware what the rams will do and hopefully fix it.

i read an article the other day by the football talking heads that NO QB in the league…..not even Brady or Mahomes would of done any better under the pressure the Lions thru at Darnold!!!!!

I dont believe the talking heads much especially a guy like Stephen A since he just said early last week that Darnold hadnt thrown for 300 yards since like November, when in fact he did it like 3 times since then and one of them was the week prior LOL

There’s a pretty distinct “line” from the Vikings and then to the longer shot teams.

In my opinion the Lions, Chiefs, Vikings, Ravens, Bills, and Eagles all have a realistic shot as contenders to make the SB. The rest of that list is playing with house money and is fortunate to be a part of the tournament.

I hope the Ravens or Bills come out of the AFC. I’ve had enough of the Chiefs to last me a couple decades.

Not sure what talking head made that statement but he was a idiot. Both Brady and Mahomes have faced as much or more pressure than Darnold did in that game and still managed to win. Lets face it. Darnold froze like a deer in the headlights and they got badly outcoached. Hopefully they learn from it and do better next game. If not we will have plenty to talk about till the start of next season.

I agree, I noticed the gap there too between the Vikings and Bucs/Packers.

The potential (and likely) divisional game between Buffalo and Baltimore looks intriguing.

NFL monitoring the fire situation in LA ahead of the Vikings-Rams game. While the fires may not approach SoFi stadium the air quality in the area is very unhealthy (150 rating or higher). SoFi area had a recent air quality rating of 281.

I think the most frustrating part of the game for me was that the Lions had a clear plan, or adjusted to one, in the 2nd half to beat our blitzes. Nearly every time we blitzed Goff had an outlet or threw right over the top of the blitz for 5-12 yards. Gotta give him credit, he stood in there and took some hits doing so, but it seemed like they were really able to punish our blitzes that didn’t get home.

We didn’t seem to have an answer OR Darnold just wasn’t executing, tough for me to tell. But we have all sorts of guys who are very capable YAC guys on short passes(JJ, Addison, Jones, Hock, etc.) and it still seems like every pass is 10+ yards down the field.

Lions were perfectly fine hitting Gibbs behind the line of scrimmage and living with the 0-5 yards, and as our defense got tired those plays turned into 10+ yarders.

Kicking out of bounds to end the first half was just an absolute back-breaker. Not only did it gift the Lions 3 points, but they walk into the locker room knowing they went like 30+ yards in 15 seconds to end the half. “Hey, maybe we can move the ball against these guys.”

They’ve been talking about the fires on KFAN frequently today. Since the game cannot be pushed back, relocation would have to occur. And with it being only 5 days away, that decision has to be made very soon (like in the next 24 hours).

There is some speculation that it could get moved to Santa Clara (49ers home) or Glendale (Cards home).

They already postponed the LA Kings home game tonight that was supposed to be played at the Staples Center.

Normally this would be a big deal, but it’s usually 60%+ away fans in LA anyway, so Santa Clara or AZ would be the same. Maybe more in AZ due to all the snowbirds.

Haha, they cracked a joke about that too.

Dallas has also been floated as an option since the espn crew will already be there covering the cotton bowl.

The jokes about a playoff game finally being played in Dallas and it’s not the cowboys write themselves.

The NFL just released a statement indicating that Arizona is the contingency location if it needs to be moved out of LA.
