Kinda hard Ive been around awhile. Had a customer named Gary Anderson last week and one named Darrin Nelson this week. Brought back some bad memories. Neither were them but still. When I asked Gary why he missed the kick he just laughed and said nobody has said that in 10 years. When I asked Darrin why he dropped the ball at the goal line he looked at me like I was a wacko. Apparently hes not a Viking guy.
I was pretty young for the Darrin Nelson drop but I remember like it was yesterday…
Maybe it’s the Purple Koolaid talking, but I’ve got the Vikes winning this one 35-24. I think BFlo will have some tricks up his sleeve to contain Gibbs and limit Goff’s effectiveness. I think the Vikings offense will dominate the Lions D.
Football guy or not – I don’t know how you live in MN with the name Darrin Nelson and don’t get someone making a joke about the dropped ball or disco dancing like twice a week.
I wonder what the real Gary Anderson is up to these days. I imagine living a very secluded life far from MN and football in the mountains of New Zealand – or perhaps a transgender police chief like Ray Finkel in Ace Ventura.
Edit – I guess he lives and Alberta and he and his wife run a charity that supports Local Athletics. Apparently he’s a big fly fisherman. I would love it if someone tracked him down for an interview. They could do a 30-for-30 on that ’98 Squad.
Super cool move by the Wilfs, can’t imagine the Pohlads doing something like this.

well………the Twins would actually have to get close to making the playoffs first!!!
I’ve had 6 posts not post today
I figured once I typed that, it would post.
Anyway, damn Werm you beat me to it with bashing the Pohlads!
Wilfs are taking a loss on those tickets just to get more Vikings fans there. Love seeing owners doing whatever they can to help their team.
I know the Wilfs are doing it just out of the goodness of their hearts. Just curious what the home field advantage would be worth to them if they beat Detroit?
To me the biggest variable is the swing in rest time. I honestly don’t like the chances all that much for whoever the loser is. They’re going to beat the s#$% out of each other and the loser will go on the road all banged up, whereas the winner can watch film for a week.

they dont have to spend another 2 mil on tickets somewhere else!!!!
seriuosly…..the same as Detroit having home field in a dome…….noise when the opponent is on offense!!!

Regardless, it’s a cool thing. And agree the Pohlads would never have done it.
I’m guessing some here are season ticket holders. The play-off ticket sales must have started whats the average play-off ticket price and whats the capacity of the stadium?
Vikins injury report is looking good. Healthy squad this week.
Pat Jones is out. That appears to be the only player.
That means Dallas Turner will see increased playing time tonight.
