What are the chances of Vikings signing Aaron Rodgers in the offseason, not what he used to be ,but definitely an improvement over anything on the team, could definitely see him leading this team to a disappointing loss in the playoffs

Surely you cant be serious. Have you even watched him at all this year? Id rather have Mullens in there then him at this stage.

Just to entertain the thought for fun, my “no” reasons:

    1. His high cost goes completely against the current Vikings financial model. They were able to sign guys like Van Ginkel, Greenard, Cashman, Aaron Jones, etc. by getting rid of big contracts like Hunter and Cousins. They’re also operating on a model of building their team by putting money into other positions while a typically highly paid position, the QB, is on a rookie contract starting next year. Paying Rogers what he would want would make no sense.

    2. What KOC has built with this organization would not work whatsoever with Rogers. Admittedly winning (starting 5-0) is a big part of it, but earlier this year players were talking about something special with this team. Rogers and his ego, his mantra, his demands that a franchise be his, would not work here.

    3. He’s not that great anymore, definitely not the guy you want to go with if you have high aspirations.

HA! KOC wants a QB he can mold and develop, it’s his specialty and he’s good at it. Rogers is the antithesis of that. Signing Rogers would be like signing a second head coach and GM – and a really bad one, at that.

Which young QB’s exactly has KOC molded and developed? Just curious.

Vikings remaining schedule looks pretty easy. Only tough games are lions and kirk-o chains. Cardinals I haven’t followed this year. It’ll be fun to throttle green Bay again. Really I hope we play them a 3rd time this year in the playoffs, no team I’d rather face. LaFlooor is a master choke artist in the post season.

He has literally made a prediction every week about the Vikings. He has only been right twice now. whistling

Does Sam Darnold count when he put up 3 TD’s against the pack? Hey oh.

He’s getting more out of Darnold than anyone thought possible (short of the last couple games), and while not necessarily “young” he took an average Kirk Cousins in the middle of his career to the next level and made him one of the highest paid QBs in the league. I also give him some credit with helping develop Goff in LA. I could name some far worst coaches for QBs in our recent history – my point being is that in some Hypothetical situation where Rogers would come here, it would be a spectacular mismatch. But that’s probably the same everywhere, at this point.

That is better odds than what some of Joe’s predictions have been in the Wild thread though LOL

And although not a rookie at the time, I can’t imagine many other coaches in recent history would have been able to get more out of Josh Dobbs, at least initially, than KOC did.

Is the drama in Chicago building? Hearing rumors that Caleb Williams doesn’t like his teammates. Ah Houston, that would be a major problem.

That’s hilarious, so you’re now saying he hasn’t developed anyone? That’s some high praise for KOC. I guess you are correct, heck of a high scoring game last week with all those TD’s the Vikings scored against a 2 win team.

I was referring to the other troller.
    Try and follow along.
How many did they put up against the cheese?

Could be wrong but didn’t both teams score 4 TD’s that game. So how many TD’s did they score last week against a team that has only won 2 games this year?

If Darnold leaves for the green and A-a Ron comes to Kwesi and says I’ll be a mentor and backup for JJ for $15 mil, I’d advise Kwesi to do the deal. Chances that A Rog humbles himself to stick a knife in the Green and Gold are non-existent. I think Rodgers understands the Pack did the right thing by sending him on his way.

The Vikings have another possible trap game this week, but the likelihood of the Offense falling into the Trap for a second week in a row is highly doubtful. One would expect that after last week, the Offense practiced with playoff intensity this week, especially in the red zone. I think chances are pretty good that the Titans will get run over this week.

The same team that didn’t score a TD against the 2 win jags also put up 4 tds in half against the pack, so maybe it’s just the packs defense that sucks.

Besides didn’t the pack barely squeak by that same 2 win team with a last second field goal? Wow, total domination

I realize the Vikings like to sign Packer castoffs, but you don’t want Rodgers, believe me. Rodgers is such a diva and would destroy any chemistry on the team, and would also want to be the GM besides the QB. I’m sure he thought the Pack did him wrong and would want to try to prove them wrong and play for the Vikings. I bet if the Jets could take back the trade for Rodgers, they definitely would.

Break for the Vikings way on that penalty. I didn’t think it was a head shot.

Titans coach doing his best LaFleur impression on the sidelines though, and receiving a penalty for it.

What in the world has happened to our running game lately.

Overall, we’ve been and continue to play like barely a playoff burnout team. And that’s being generous.

i listened to a bit of the pregame on the radio on my way home from hunting. they said this officiating crew calls the most penalties per game…like 17 per game. alot of illegal formation, personal fouls in the unnecessary roughness and holding penalties to name a few they rattled off!!!!
