not sure how accurate this is but i’ve read that Addison wants out of Mn. whining cause he aint getting the ball enough. think being a 2nd year player and some legal issues on the horizon he should watch his own bobber.

it wasnt on FB but on Msn!!!

They should let him go and he can go ponder his future on the exit ramp to the airport.

There’s only one team I like watching lose more than the Vikings….and that’s da Bears peace toast

The Packers are in 2nd place with a four game win streak, the Vikings in 3rd with a two game losing streak. Next week against the red hot Lions is going to be a tough one.

Well, with Love probably out for a while and the Bears still showing us they’re the Bears, Vikes have an opportunity with a few “soft” games to hopefully settle down and work on some things. Problem is that Detroit may not lose another game. Texans, Bills, 49ers are the only potential losses that I see on their schedule, but that’s still probably 3 Ws. Would be fun to have it come down to the last game of the season for the division, but I think Detroit will have it wrapped-up by then.

all that hype was due to an IG post he recently made with the caption “Free 3” The problem with it is that he’s been using that phrase since college if not earlier, he even had a huge diamond chain he wore at his draft that said “FREE”…

I do agree the kid has appeared disinterested the past few games, zero emotion when he makes a catch and the silly mental penalties he’s had… apparently Jefferson has had to rip into him a few times to get his head in the games…

Opening line favors the Vikings by 6 over the Colts on Sunday night.

The Lions are favored over the Packers on the road by 3.5 points. That may change based on Jordan Love’s availability.

Will Flaco will the Colts the same way he did the Brown’s a year ago? This makes Sunday’s match up much more intriguing with him starting under center.

Agreed, I’d much rather go against Richardson. Smart veteran QB’s have been the common denominator of late.

Richardson is a bust. At one point last game he was 8/29 passing. There’s a reason his career record at Florida was a whopping 6-6.

The sooner the Colts realize it and admit their fault, the better off the franchise will be. The 49ers quickly moved-on from the Trey Lance disaster and didn’t let it consume them as an organization for multiple years. Although this season has been a bit rocky with all the injuries, they still could have a big say in who represents the NFC in the Super Bowl. The Colts on the other hand should be figuring out what they want to use yet another Top 10 pick on in the next draft.

Flacco will be operating a lot like the last two QBs the Vikings have faced in Goff and Stafford. They are both immobile pocket passers with no mobility.

The question is, will Flacco be permitted time to stand there, read a book, and make a pass like Goff and Stafford? Hope Flores dials up some new schemes here. He’s had 9 days to come up with something.

Flores D has been exposed for the last several weeks. I think its time to show the same looks but just simplify it to confuse the other team. Our offense never seems to have a problem getting out to a good start but our D has a hard time maintaining after adjustments. It would be nice if Cashman and Risner could come and play. Cashman especially.

I think we have missed Cashman more than people realize, he has not played the last two games and are D has not looked the same. I see Qwesi went and got a Left tackle. I know Robinson was a pretty good left tackle when he was younger.

Robinson is a very nice rental pickup for next to nothing.

That is a 2 way street, as the offense starts fast and then vanishes for huge portions of the 2nd/3rd quarters too, which puts more pressure on the D. Personally I think they are fine on defense, had a couple tough matchups that didn’t go their way, but still 9th in PPG and wild improvement from 2 years ago and even last year.

The Vikings new LT (Robinson) should be a great addition if he can stay healthy and on the field. Vikings are pressing hard to continue winning.

True top shelf and disruptive players make a difference when they play and teams can faulter when they do not. Rams two WRs proved that out right in front of everyone’s eyes.

Robinson is a great get for the Vikings, even if it’s only a rental to finish the season. He prevents the o-line from becoming a vulnerability for the rest of the season and has every incentive to play his tail off for a big contract elsewhere following the season.

He grades out as the 16th best Left Tackle in football – so essentially an average starter. To nab that for peanuts is big plus going forward.

Robinson also gets to play for team that today has rather high aspirations vs. a team that will soon be ready to just go through the motions.

Looking ahead to this weeks contest – Should be interesting with Grandpa Flacco out there – he proved last year that he can still ball. We’ll see if he has anything left in the tank. Not sure what the Colts O-line is looking like compared to LA – If we can get any pressure on Flacco, it will be hard for him to escape. I do think the game will be closer than it should be – again, we always play to our competition. Unlike Detroit who beats bad teams by +30 points – which is what good teams do. Like the great Jerry Burns put it – You gotta have killer instinct!

Deforest Buckner is going to be as big of a factor as Flacco, if he doesn’t absolutely abuse Bradbury and Ingram we should be able to do a lot on offense. Colts are pretty mediocre on defense, but he can destroy a whole gameplan. I expect a return to the mean for B Flo and the defense vs Grandpa Joe.

Not Vikings related, but I’m almost speechless watching the pathetic display of Football that is Jets vs. Texans. Loving every minute of Rogers being utterly inept, even with his best bud Devonte. And Corley doing the most Jets thing ever, dropping the ball as part of a celly, before he actually gets in the end zone, ending up in a touch back for Houston. Michaels and Herbstreet almost asleep in the booth.

Edit… and they still might win because Houston is that bad. I’m not going to stay awake to find out.

“Hi CJ Stroud, sorry your WR’s are hurt but nonetheless welcome back.” -Earth

Arguably not one franchise QB or at least not one face of the league QB in these drafts. Some promise from the class of 24, but still to early to tell.

I hate to do it, but I may have to cheer for GB on Sunday. I think a win by them helps Minnesota the most. A win by the Lion’s will give them a rather solid lead in the division standing. I don’t think we can count on the Bears pulling out a win against them. Its going to be a great afternoon game for sure. Better yet that the Vikings don’t play till after so will be able to watch both games.

Its hard to believe how well Purdy is playing and even more amazing that he is doing so for so little pay. I read that Prescott made more $ in one Qtr. last week than Purdy is making in a full season. If he stays healthy this year he’s in for a rather large payday prior to next season. I doubt he will get Prescott kind of money ( Although I think they way over paid him ) but he will be getting a much bigger paycheck next year. Personally I think Prescott is WAY over rated. There are probably 10 + QB io=out there I’d rather have leading a team than him.

Purdy will for sure get a new contract next season. He is making $1/year right now which is paltry in comparison to where he falls in line on the overall QB rankings in the leauge. I agree, he will probably not make 50 or 60 mil/season, but it might be pretty close to that. His salary is the primary reason SF is able to pay other premier positional players so much. That will change moving forward.

Prescott is probably over paid for what he is doing this year. Last year he led the league in TDs and finished 2nd in MVP voting. At the same time, what else are they going to do? Start Cooper Rush?
Quality quarterbacks do not grow on trees. There’s a reason Atlanta signed Cousins and its because he is the best available option at the time. I’d guess that at least half the teams in the league would love to have Prescott or Cousins as their QB. Same could be said about Lawrence and Love. Certainly Prescott and Cousins are more accomplished quarterbacks than Love and Lawrence at this point too.

I’d say half is about right. But being he is the highest paid QB, you would think far more than 1/2 would.

He’s actually not the highest paid QB yet. That contract starts next season. He is making 43 mil this year.

The Cowboy’s problems go deeper than just his play this season. They have arguably the worst defense in the league. Certainly his caliber of play thus far is a part of it though.

I bet Purdy will be 50M+ a season, comparing to the going QB salary right now. Have to disagree with your comment about Prescott and Cousin’s being more accomplished than Love or Lawrence. None of those QB’s (all 4 of them) have won more than a playoff game at best. Although Prescott to me should have accomplished more than he has, and I also believe he is also overrated. I would have thought with the defense Dallas had last year with their record they should have been playing in the NFC Championship game.
