^I mean the game is never really in doubt, the Vikings lead it from start to finish.

I think the Vikes might have to go into next year with JJ the week 1 starter, or another signed veteran QB, simply because Darnold has likely played his way to a multi year deal. I’m sure the Vikes would love to bring him back but unless he took a team friendly deal or a one year deal, I think he goes elsewhere for a few years.

I’m happy to see the guy having likely the time of his life when he’s been put in some pretty awful situations for years.

No team has one their next game after playing the Lions this year and have lost by an average of 21.5 points. Hope that streak ends.

Is there such a thing as the Vikings being in total control or boring???

Exactly – IF they can be in control and win decidedly, it proves that there’s still much hope to claw back to #1, should Detroit drop a game or two. But we’re on a short week and probably still reeling a bit from the loss. I do think the Vikes will win, but just don’t have the faith that we can put the Rams away like the non-contenders they are. We have a habit of playing to our competition in games like this.

If those two play they will eat up the middle of the field with no Cashman.

They should run Metellus out at mike on obvious passing downs.

I don’t have a problem with them not playing him tonight. I’d rather have him healthy and fully recovered before playing him. We are going to need him far more later in the season that we need him right now.

All this talk about Darnold. But give credit where credit is due. The Vikes O Line is the best I’ve seen for a long time.

If that’s how both defenses are going to play tonight, the punters are going to have a very relaxing night in LA.

Sheesh. Moving the ball with ease.

    How about some defense?

You’d think ALL linemen would wear some sort of knee brace protection to help with other players rolling into them, no way to avoid it…

This team looks disiterested! Where’s this sack-happy defense? Stafford could read a book in the pocket.

The defense looks tired and wore out. There is almost no push back or pressure applied. And when there’s a third down, the Rams get a first down via penalty.
