Interesting link deertracker. That farm is in the redwing area, and that helicopter has spent quite a bit of time around there. If they weren’t actually spraying the farm maybe the pilot just set it down to stretch his legs.

If you look close it looks like he has sprayer bars on that thing.

Looks like there may be a tank between the runners as well. I assumed it was a sprayer, but odd to see it on a farm that has never had aerial spraying done in the past. The farmer did confirm last night that this farm was not sprayed, so it must have been a neighbor, and that was the only good spot to set it down for a short period. Sounds like he knows Kato well and wasn’t the least bit concerned. Helicoptor trespassing was something I never thought I’d have to report to the farmer!

Here are some updates from some of the bucks this summer. Pretty much all fully grown now and will start shedding velvet in the next few weeks. Not overly excited about anything, havent seen anything aobve the 160″ mark

Those are all beauties in my book! Do you need someone to help you? Ive never shot anything remotely close to that LOL but I hunt public land and its heavily pressured. Pretty much sucks.

I had been seeing this buck 3 to 4 times a day. He disappeared for two days and came back hard horned.

I’ve been slacking big time getting cameras going and scouting this summer, too damn busy. Finally made it out this evening and did some glassing, located one of the nice 8s from last year. Not the greatest pic. Still didn’t get the cameras going yet, got to property too late to be walking around.

If not, he will survive and heal then grow to become a big shooter.
