Going to be an interesting year for me as all the river bottom land was flooded and some still is. So any browse below the flood water line is brown and dead, and no deer could have stayed in there during the flood.

I think that will be nice. For the last few years without the flooding all the river bottoms were so grossly overgrown you couldnt barely even walk in. The deer will be back as soon as they dont have to swim.

Those are the best years for river bottoms. My best hunting is on pieces of river bottoms that flood, or any small chunks of high land that are adjacent. Especially where you are

I just got cameras out a week ago on some new ground, going to go check them out here in a few days. Excited to see whats out there. My private ground hasnt had much showing up yet a and might need to put some cameras in a few new spots with the crop change this year

It was actually really slow trigger speed it took the picture on the second pass.

I honestly have no idea what was going on. The farmer hasn’t got back to me to find out if someone was out there spraying or something, and just happened to land by the pond out in the middle of the field or what. I will say the chopper had landed, and sat there for a few mins per the time stamps on all the pics.

It does sorta look like a cropdusting helicopter.

Yeah, that’s what I assumed it would be. It’s just a odd spot to land. It’s not like he set it down there to fill up or something.

Doesn’t look like any crop duster I’ve ever seen.

    Weird is right.

They are a crop spraying company and feed haulers.

Interesting link deertracker. That farm is in the redwing area, and that helicopter has spent quite a bit of time around there. If they weren’t actually spraying the farm maybe the pilot just set it down to stretch his legs.

One shooter and a great up and comer. The younger one has some fun stickers that will be interesting to see how they develop next year

If you look close it looks like he has sprayer bars on that thing.

That is what I thought I saw too when I commented earlier.
