Hopefully Memphis falls apart after the coach being fired. Wolves are playing great but getting into the 6th spot is a challenge.

Sounds like the Wolves/Lynx sale to Lore and A-Rod is now done, they now own the team…

One negative thing is they were 0/3 on game winning shots last night. I’ve actually lost count on how many consecutive GW shots they have missed this year and I’ve yet to actually see one go in.

I also agree they shouldn’t need a brawl to get fired up. They’ve lacked urgency, especially against bad teams, all year.

They need to get better, but there is hope.

Their tied for the 6th spot now. Their last 6 games four are against crap teams and one with the Bucks and one with the Grizzlies who their tied with. With that schedule they should end up in 5th.

I don’t disagree. BUT they have been staying in the 7th and 8th spot for weeks. Golden State is super hot and even the Clippers have been winning. Agree probably the best chance is Memphis falling apart and we need to beat the bad teams which has been a challenge for this team.

Well that was one of the top 10 Wolves games I have seen in my entire life. For reference I have been listening/watching games since 89.

Sale of the team will be finalized in the next 30 days! Of all the local pro teams, only the Wolves make me happy win or lose and I will die on this hill but it will be the Wolves that bring the next Chip to the north state.

This year? Maybe but they are set up for the next decade! WOLVESBACK

No offense, but that really isnt saying too much. They have been so bad for so long. THey have been an absolute blast to watch lately though. Ant is HIM. I think its going to suck when the Conley can no longer play the game. He is showing his age, but when he is on with Gobert those two just seem to have a great chemistry.
    I agree though. WOLVESBACK!

They better do it quick before A-Roid moves them to Seattle or Vegas.

I’m not sure if the playoffs work in the usual 6 plays 3 then plays the winner of 2 vs. 7 but if it is it might be better to be the 6 than the 5 as the 5 would have to play OKC in the second round. Putting the horse wayyyy before the cart there though.

They arent moving the team because the NBA wants an expansion team not to relocate a team. Also I believe its more lucrative for an owner to start an expansion team and penalties for moving a team now.

I was in the same boat when I heard they wanted to buy the T Pups but if you look into it there is a very small chance they move them.

Teams 7-10 play in the play in tournament for the 7th and 8th seed so ideally you don’t want to be there. It’s going to be a wild couple weeks of positioning. Denver lost again last night so they need to take the game tonight. I would rest as many starters as possible tho? They all looked absolutely gassed after Tuesday night.

OKC is playing great but they are very beatable in a series. Cleveland and Boston in the east are on a different level. Not sure anyone is beating them in a series.

Just remember the last time this team was relevant it lasted 2 years.

The Twin Cities market is a great basketball market. Slim to none chance they are moved. Arena discussions would be the biggest obstacle though. Target Center is well past its prime.

Dont we have a really good record against them the last couple years? Or maybe I am thinking of someone else.

I think we’d have a better chance against OKC in one game over a series. I think the Thunder have figured it out and I certainly wouldn’t want to play them in the first round.

Absolutely love that the Nuggets had to rest their stars after using all their gas against us and that they lost to the Spurs last night!
