Skeeter posted the new 24WX models. Looks like some cool small changes. In the market for a 2060F, wondering if I should wai for new or get a left over if possible.

The new models are just being released with interior cockpit changes and the hull remained the same. Mathew is correct in saying carry overs will be significantly less. Everyone looks at this differently in regards to dollars vs new model. Choice is good though !

Current 2060F models in stock at our store.

The website says the beam is 102 the 2023 listed it at 99? That would be some kind of hull change?

I just looked at Skeeter website, and I didn’t see the 2060 on there. Just 1910 and 2200. Did Skeeter pull that model?

Skeeter released another new WXR2060 model without jumpseats. Big change in that now Skeeter’s 20′ is rated at 300hp. Nice boat, but a little too rich for my blood.

Where did you see this information about the new rating?

They did a facebook reveal yesterday and the boat had a 300 on it. If you have FB there is a video where they talk about it as well. Pretty sure it’s at the NW Sportshow in Mpls.

I don’t see any with a 300 there yesterday. Will have to take another look today.

Not surprising when you figure the 2040 used to be rated for 300, then also take in account Ranger 20′ at 300 already.
    Maybe a 3 mph gain.
While my 2200 will go 58, I’m sort of a 35 mph kind of guy.
There is really only about a 25 hp difference when you look at the dyno charts, then take in account the more performance lower unit on the 250 SHO, I probably would stay with the 250.

Skeeter’s problem was that every other major 20′ glass boat has a 300 rating.

Rip, it looked like the 2060 they have there was under cover until the reveal yesterday afternoon.

The way it looks the 300 will not be available until the 2025 model.
I wonder if that will make the potential buyers of the 2024’s hold off? I would imagine the price could make the decision.

Has anyone been in the 2024 2060 yet? Just wondering how they perform and what the thoughts are when compared to the 2023?
