Nice to see Corey Pronman had Charlie Stramel as one of his NHL prospects who’ve improved the most the first half of this season…That kid needs all the good press he can get after the past few years, glad he’s doing well this season…

For those who didn’t watch the pregame show, Biz made a bet with Middleton that if he scored Biz would do the postgame show interview tarps off…

Holy power forward move by Boldy! Why can’t he play more like that!

He scores on that move quite a bit. His hands in tight like that are pretty dang good. That pick up off the wall was so smooth too. Great play start to finish.

Nice to see a ppg again

Didn’t the bet with Middleton include getting in a fight? Funny either way.

it was originally supposed to be a Gordie Howe Hat trick, then later Biz said he only needed a goal…

Yep was thinking it about 3 mins in. Figured it was my connection though. Glad I’m not the only one.

Did Freddy tap his chest skating back to the bench after that Hyman goal? Nice effort Freddy…

Billy G seems to do a lot of press and TV appearances more than any other GM the wild have had. I could care less but just seems that way.

He has a great personality and was a former star player that has won pretty much everything you can…

All things considered and hate moral victories, but to keep it that close missing the players we are, that wasn’t a horrible showing. Had ample opportunities to score but just couldn’t finish. One goal off our skate and one off Freddy’s stick on a back check, that is just sucky puck luck.

The cameras or feeds were painful to watch.

I agree, thought they hung in there better than expected.

Their record this season against the top teams in the west is pretty terrible. They’re gonna have to improve on that if they intend to go anywhere in the postseason.

Their record is a combined 2-10 against Winnipeg, Dallas, Colorado, Edmonton, Los Angeles, and Vegas. Their record is good against some of the better eastern teams but obviously that would have no bearing on the post season until the Stanley Cup Final.

I wonder if GMBG will resist the urge to call up Liam Ohgren to replace Jojo and let him continue to cook in Iowa? Ohgren had 2 goals and an assist in last night’s Iowa game and has 12 Goals and 11 Assists in 25 games sofar this season…
Given his recent play, it’s probably better to move Hartman upto the 2nd line instead and backfill with our cheap AHL scrubs…

I had to quit watching and turn on the radio broadcast. I couldn’t put my finger on what TNT had effed up, but the whole effect gave me a headache. It was like ever time the camera moved, there was a slight blurring or focus shift. It was just awful.

It’s the same story, the Wild just cannot compete against top teams with so many players missing.

IMO the story of the nights that if that’s all Edmonton can do against a team that’s as depleted as the Wild are, there ain’t going to be any second bite at the cup this year. And I thought that in watching other Edmonton games as well, there just is not the sharpness to their game. I mean considering how bad the Wild’s PP is, the Wild freaking owned the Oilers on the PP. Extended periods of zone time and 2 PP goals in one period? Man, the oilers are absolutely going to get spanked against any top 15 PP team if they look like they did last night against the lowly Wild.

Best bright spot for the Wild is Hartman’s continued resurgence. If he somehow comes out of this run of injuries as anything like a consistent producer, then we’ve really GOT something.

I totally agree with Joe, given the fact that Jo Jo and Freddy are both hopeless cases, it’s time to look at Liam.

Also, Buium. Will he or won’t he? Imagine putting Brodin, Spurgeon, Faber, Middleton, AND Buium on the ice last night. Totally different result.

Zeev is 100% signing with the Wild when Denver’s season is over BUT (per Russo) due to our cap issues, signing Zeev MIGHT not allow us to ALSO sign Yurov… Russo will clear that up as we get closer to April and know exactly what the cap number is…

Jiricek again looked good last night imo, so projecting out next season’s D core you’re looking at

    Faber – Brodin
    Spurgeon – Buium
    Middleton – Jiricek

Bogosian as your 7th, Lambos and Spacek as your injury callups from Iowa, I don’t think they re-sign Chisholm…
