I watched the first two periods and it was a disaster. They were losing 2-0, had 9 shots, and it looked bleak.

Just checked the score to see they won 3-2 in OT. I am shocked. Guess I should have stayed the course.

Time to officially put Ryan Hartman’s face on a milk carton…

Gus kept them in that game.

    Boldy is baffling.

My poor kid. I swear I will start to let you guys know. I would be super rich betting against him. Literally told me he doesn’t want to come back to a wild game.

He should have a lifetime ban at this point.

FanDuel put up a stat that he’s leading the league with shots without a goal. No surprise to Wild fans.

Leave it upto the NHL to destroy something as cool as the Winter Classic was… watered down additional outdoor games, Repeat venues, repeating terrible teams, ect… it has turned into just another game to me (I actually thought is was tomorrow, not today… wasn’t it always on new years day in the past?)

Did Gretzky have in his TNT contract that they need to mention his kid’s “Gretzky’s Basement” Chicago location every 5 minutes?

Yeah it used to be the exclusive game on New Year’s Day. Now literally turned into just another game, because there’s 12 other games today… and one tomorrow. wtf why??

That pregame “concert” was tough to watch and brutal to listen to. Luckily the anthem was fantastic.

Agree they gotta do something about the scheduling. Beginning of the season through the playoffs it’s just awful.

I also wondered why the winter classic was tonight too instead of tomorrow. I haven’t made a point of watching it in years though. Outdoor games aren’t a novelty anymore.

Glad Trenin jumped in at least somewhat.

That did not look good at all!

Spurgeon in a full leg brace after the game… sounds like we’ll get to see what Jiricek looks like for the Wild, he scored in Iowa last night…

What an embarrassment Chicago was for their fans and the NHL at the Winter Classic…

The NHL thinking Bedard could carry the game is a joke… I cant wait to watch St Louis play in it again in a year or two….so disappointing

How much longer is GMBG going to wait to extend Rossi? at this point you gotta wonder if the Rossi camp are the ones not signing yet as the price tag keeps going up…

Missed the entirety of the last two games. Good to see the PP woke up out of a slumber last night with 3 goals. Sucks spurgeon is hurt but if he is out a while at least I will get my wish that he’s not on PP1.

L’Heureux is a total douchebag and he needs his ass beat in the next game. The Wild can’t let this crap pass like they used to.

This has been brought up many times as a rule change. If Spurgeon is done for the season, L’Douche should be suspended that long as well.

What will it take for our Middle line guys to actually start scoring again? I mean Hartman is completely hopeless, I’m talking about guys that legitimately should be scoring like Freddy and JoJo.

Nobody mentioned the USA whipping Canada in juniors. The Canadian fans are such bunch of crybabies. They show up festooned in Maple leaf everything to cheer against the US team in other games and then cry about the USA kids giving their team the business when they play head to head. It’s just adding motivation.

its funny, out of those 3, the Wild expect Hartman to score the most…he’s been completely invisible this entire season, not good for a guy who everyone on the Wild said was going to have a bounce back year…he becomes tradable next season although the Wild will most likely need to give him away for nothing…

Jojo is most likely done with the NHL after this season and Freddy is about on par with what he should be producing for a $2aav, the GMBG plan is for these older guys to get replaced by kids like Ohgren, Yurov, Heidt and Stramel the next few years…Foligno’s deal is still the one that worries me due to the added year it has and he’s an older player who has a recent track record of soft tissue injuries and being physical is what keeps him in the league, if he can’t be that, he’s worthless…

Time for the annual “How many goals will Ovi score against the Wild” contest.

I think he gets two from his office on the powerplay…

I’m going with 1 from the office, the other an ENG.

    When did KK get hurt?

nagging groin injury, they said they are just playing it safe and keeping him out a bit longer to hopefully clear it up for the rest of the season vs what happened with Lauko missing 4 games, coming back and re-injuring again and then out alot longer the second time…

Groin injuries are awful especially when you constantly open your hips and try to push off the way Karill does.
