Is the World Juniors only on NHL network?

In past years it was on ESPN+ too I believe, but not sure about this year.

yes, I only get it because its part of the Comcast package needed to get Wild games…

Man… Zeev Buium is like having a 4th forward on the ice at all times… can’t wait to see him in a Wild jersey… whoever his D partner is has to be a stay at home defenseman to cover for him…

    Yeah, I don’t think a Buium-Faber combo would work out…

Fun to think about what he’ll bring.

How does Buium play 24 minutes, 4 minutes more than anyone else, in a 10-4 game and not register a point? Must be saving it for the big games peace

he’d have several if they awarded 3rd assists… these kids are so good that they constantly make the extra pass in close, Zeev’s breakout and puck rush skills are elite…

Didn’t seem to be an issue for Cole Hutson though…

Wild must feel the extra 3 days rest for Ek and now Kirill is more valuable to the team long term vs playing tonight… kinda strange… this feels like another Dallas blowout tonight…

Is anybody following this deal with Laine trash talking the CBJs and the Blue Jackets targeting his injured shoulder as revenge? The Wild totally dodged a bullet by not ending up with this guy and oh lord what we’d have given up to get him.

Yeah wild dint need a guy who is 3rd in the league in PPG after only playing 10 games and said he was sick of the losing ways in Columbus.

    Who needs that. sleeping

Columbus is a gongshow of an organization, my guess is that it would be ranked 31st or 32nd in terms of free agent destinations (Buffalo being the other worst)

That being said, Laine is Laine, he’s always been this type of lazy/selfish player…. Have you seen his 5on5 play this season? It’s not good….

He’s blessed with an absolute ELITE RH shot every team covets (Wild included) and “earns” his paycheck on the powerplay… My guess is after awhile Montreal will get sick of his lack of effort 5on5 and dump him off to another team, but they’ll continue to put up with him as long as he keeps scoring goals at the rate he has been…

He also knows his NHL future depends on what he does this season, so you’re seeing maximum effort Laine and even that has been laughable outside of his Powerplay success which has been literally standing still and shooting 1 timers…

Based on what Montreal paid with 0 retained salary, the Wild’s likely offer was GusBus + Freddy + one of our Iowa D prospects and maybe a draft pick due to Columbus needing to retain a good chunk of his caphit… Rossi was never in the discussion imo…

Sofar it looks like the holiday break did absolutely NOTHING for Hartman and Jojo’s games, just a waste of icetime out there…

Its just unreal to watch the Wild penalty kill in action, there’s ZERO hustle, constant circling vs starts & stops, sticks up off the ice, wide open passing lanes, nobody is blocking shots, etc…

I watched Freddy his entire PK shift, it was a great example of how NOT to play PK, all he did was circle back and forth low to high with his stick up at his waist, he lost 2 board battles too…

These are all staples taught in youth hockey pk strategy… we just have the wrong players who refuse to do the dirty work needed… that’s on GMBG…

Wow. That was an amazingly inept power play by the Wild.

Boldy trying a backhand saucer pass 8’ in the air from the blueline down to a player in the far corner that’s caught by a Stars defenseman and out the zone they go… wtf? His hockey brain is completely fried to even think of attempting it…

Absolute miserable first 40 minutes of hockey. Seems like a huge victory to come back and send it to OT at least.

3 goals essentially all from the defense. Not weird. Wild.

Watched the game late after a family function. That first 45 minutes of hockey was not enjoyable to watch. Gus, Brodin and Faber won that game. How in the heck they won that game was impressive.

For 45 minutes my prediction looked right, fortunately I was wrong.

Great finish for a win last night.

    i’m with ya, I didn’t watch the 1st 10 minutes of the 3rd period… I expected Dallas to be up by 4 or 5 goals…
