Nobody wanted to mention the change of time for the game tonight. What a bunch of crap now I have to sit inside the X until 11pm that’s way past my bed time.

I assume that’s because its the 2nd game on TNT’s coverage tonight?

Well we can forget about two KK’s on the roster. Traded to Seattle

We must not have wanted him or couldn’t make the caphit fit because the return Seattle gave up was nothing…

Basically the reason I don’t get to watch many of their playoff games. Starting a central time zone game near 9pm is completely preposterous.

Really could use Ek back. We haven’t been the same with him out of the lineup.

What a joke of a call.

How the #### did that contact seconds before the shot not allow Bob to play his position? Nobody was within 10!feet of hom when the shot came.

And Merrill gets caught flat footed and loses his guy.

Does Hartman practice missing the net by 18 inches exactly? It’s amazing he can do it on all sides. Just awesome.

That’s goal tender interference all day every day
That was literally definition of goal tender interference. What are you guys watching. He skated through the paint and made contact with the goalie as the shot was coming. Bob was clearly in his space and Rossi was clearly in the paint. If only the shoe was on the other foot.

Poor kid 0-3 this year. Little man may never get to see a W this year. 830 central time is a joke. I always bring him to the premiere games, so should maybe bring him against the Ducks.

830 central time is a joke.

And they always “market” it as an 8:30 start but it NEVER starts at that time either because it has to wait for the previous game to finish. I looked when it started last night and it was 8:53pm.

Its gonna happen again in April when the playoffs start, you know it will. Central time zone teams get the shaft every year.

It almost looked like he was holding his throat area going off the ice, which would explain the panic

I didn’t see exactly where the puck hit him. Hopefully nothing serious..

No practice or media availability today so unless Russo or Smith call him and ask we won’t know until Friday…

I think its probably a broken/shattered jaw, he wasn’t spitting up teeth or blood so there’s that, if it was his throat they likely would have taken him to the hospital and the media would know about that…

The amount of injuries to key players is sadly comical, friggin put Kirill in bubblewrap

Starting to see alot of laziness by the Wild players on the ice… Boldy doing whatever he was doing on the first Ekblad goal, Merril for some reason giving all the room in the world for Samiskevich to shoot (he friggin picked that corner clean) Hartman with just lazy defense on Barkov for the 3rd goal (thankfully it was ruled offsides) Hartman with another lazy effort on Thachuk’s goal, PK was awful on the 4th goal (Boldy’s lazy slashing penalty), Boldy was lazy with his D coverage yet again on the 5th goal, 1 Panther with all 5 Wild players around him scores after Faber gets hit…

Wild players sleeping on their D coverage and losing pretty much every battle for the puck, that’s not due to having guys out hurt, that’s just laziness by the players themselves….

Agreed, Joe, about Hartman’s laziness last night. He stood out for the wrong reasons.

I’d say Boldy was worse… he’s had a string of bad games in a row now…

Hartman has been bad for pretty much the entire season…

Russo updated that Faber is likely ok, he indeed took the puck to the throat and did go to the hospital last night last night to get checked out…

I noticed the laziness as well. But it didn’t start last night. It started with this homestand. Makes a guy realize how much having JEEK out there helps this team. If Philly wasn’t as bad as they are, we would have lost that game too.. Sounds like we dodged a bullet with Faber and I hope he returns tomorrow. The team as a whole has to get this figured out.

Faceoffs (IDO’s favorite topic) have been an issue in this recent losing stretch of games…Oilers, Kings, Flyers, Vegas and Panthers all have some of the best NHL Faceoff guys in Draisaitl, Barkov, Couteirier, Karlsson and Kopitar. I’m not saying it was the only factor, but it was noticeable in those games, especially special teams where we couldn’t win a faceoff to save our lives in either zone. (several PP goals we gave up were from clean faceoff wins and 2 seconds later the puck was in the net)

For those who say, but we don’t have Ek, Ek, Rossi and Gaudreau are about the same this season at 48-49% (Ek has only taken 65 more faceoffs than Rossi, 83 more than Freddy)

The good faceoff teams have guys in the 55-60%+ range, Wild have a ways to go….

Guys? Austin Mathew’s is 25th in the league at 55 percent. So there are 25 actual centers in the entire league with 55-60 percent. That’s not even 1 per team.

    Anything over 50 is solid.

Where do you get that take? I’m not saying every team in the league is good at faceoffs, i’m saying the good faceoff teams have one, sometimes several centers at 55%+ they can put out when a faceoff win is needed…we just faced several in a row and got worked over…our 4 centers are at 46-48-49-49%, that simply needs to improve…
