I’m slightly upset the game is on espn plus again. I missed Tuesday’s game because it was on that too. DumbWho is your cell provider? If Verizon you get it free along with appletv, paramount+ and a few more I think.
I have all that crap don’t change the fact I can’t just turn on 668 and watch it. On that other dumb stuff i gotta switch hdmi inputs to get out of commercials and junk.
CaptainMuskyPosts: 23331December 12, 2024 at 6:53 pm #2304627Yeah I don’t like flipping between streaming services either. I like to have the option to just hit previous channel and go back well that doesn’t work when going from ESPN+ to DirecTV stream.
CaptainMuskyPosts: 23331December 12, 2024 at 7:48 pm #2304643I think you’re going to see Boldy get benched… 3 tripping penalties in 3 periods is just bad…
Wow, Hynes put him right back out there… surprising…

CaptainMuskyPosts: 23331December 12, 2024 at 8:16 pm #2304656The PP has sucked ever since they took Faber off PP1 and put spurgeon in there.
CaptainMuskyPosts: 23331CaptainMuskyPosts: 23331December 12, 2024 at 8:19 pm #2304659Boldy needs to get benched but Hynes just cant afford to right now….
December 12, 2024 at 8:38 pm #2304667Middleton is out for the rest of the game, so he broke something…. Russo reported all the Wild GM’s are huddled in the team press box…

Unbelievable
December 12, 2024 at 9:08 pm #2304674Everything is going wrong tonight.
yeah, our 4th line will get a ton of minutes the rest of the game…
CaptainMuskyPosts: 23331December 13, 2024 at 4:50 am #2304681I shut it off after the 2nd, but man, that was some of the worst hockey I’ve seen played on TV in a long time.. It seemed we had some good chances before the score got carried away and just couldn’t get any puck luck. Nice serving of Humble Pie.. Definitely could tell we were missing some key guys last night & Middstrom going out hurt too. Hopefully they can get back on track tomorrow.
CaptainMuskyPosts: 23331December 13, 2024 at 7:38 am #2304690Losing Middleton was huge! The guys just flat out looked cooked. Not much energy but then there were sparks. Lauko unleashed his inner demon with some nasty punches holy smokes. That guy definitely has a broken nose, but he came back. It seems that they have been trying various D on their off hand side a bit lately because of those being out. Not sure if Jiricek will be in the mix yet, but will be interesting to here how long Middleton is out, but it didnt look good.
December 13, 2024 at 8:08 am #2304694That game was a hot steaming mess. I don’t think I’ve been at a game that had that little crowd energy in a long time. Most of the energy was coming from the McDavid bandwagon fans all dressed up in orange like a bunch of clowns.
The whole team has slid backward in a number of ways. The penalty kill is just awful again. I don’t know what this team has to do to bring some freaking special teams coaching in here to figure this out but it’s just a pile of sh1te.
We are also once again in that place where guys are shooting and missing the net by a foot and a half. I’ve pointed out in the past the wild were league leaders in this non-scoring technique about a year ago.
The best you can say about last night’s game was the wild had several go off the pipe. Even one or two of those could have at least provided a spark for a while.
What can you say. Injuries are killing this team.

Last night I was disappointed that it was on ESPN+. This morning I am glad it was.

Yeah well done! LOL. The only thing you missed was the buttwhooping Lauko laid on that one guy.
tswobodaPosts: 8707December 13, 2024 at 8:27 am #2304702They got spanked, hard.
ESPN+ haters were the real winners last night for not having to watch that

I agree the PK is a dumpster fire, its the players not the coaches…when Faber is making a simple mistake of not keeping his stick on the ice allowing Leon that backdoor PP goal last night, you know you got issues…Hynes and staff need to wipe the PK strategy board clean and start over, play to the strengths of the guys you have on the team that are available, not into a strategy they can’t execute on…
I also agree with the number of missed shots lately, guys are trying to get cute and pick corners vs getting shots on net and going for rebounds…
Lastly, some guys are just not stepping up when needed, Hartman has been invisible for the last 10 games or so, Foligno is a waste on the PP1 group, as is Spurgeon (I wonder if they are just protecting Brock’s minutes keeping him on the PP2 unit?) They need to have a sit down meeting with Bogo, they love his size, but he’s hurting more than helping when on the ice…
I’m not going to overreact though, they are down key players and yet still getting points, last night’s game was just one of those throwaways when nothing is going your way and you’re playing the 2 best players in the world (Leon’s double-hit goal was proof of that)
ThunderLund78Posts: 2670December 13, 2024 at 8:41 am #2304708One of the few games I could finally stream, so made time to watch – what a disappointment. Are we really that shallow of a bench. Gusty needs a sit, but our exhausted forwards and depleted D were not helping him in any way, either. Going to the game on Sunday against Vegas, far less excited than I was. Hopefully they bounce back.
