Probably pretty high if the league will let him after what he “allegedly” did.
tswobodaPosts: 8485November 19, 2024 at 3:39 pm #2300103Pretty sure the league reinstated Q with Bowman this summer.
Not sure if the Bruins go there though. They got absolutely roasted and tucked tail after they signed Mitchell Miller a couple years ago.

Man, I forgot about that ooof!
CaptainMuskyPosts: 22654November 19, 2024 at 4:04 pm #2300110They need a name with experience and cup cred, Quinville fills those reqs…I’d say Mike Babcock as 2nd choice just to watch the ego conflicts…
November 19, 2024 at 7:18 pm #2300153I wonder what is Brodin’s physical issue because he always comes back from being out with something looking completely healthy..
November 19, 2024 at 7:33 pm #2300157Not televised tonight? Just espn+??
I don’t get it either. ESPN plus can go kick rocks
November 19, 2024 at 8:14 pm #2300160If you’re a fan of watching hockey, ESPN+ is the best deal out there… it basically replaced the old NHL Center Ice where you can watch all out of market games and you get the odd 4-5 exclusive Wild games…
I have young kids so we roll it into Disney+
November 19, 2024 at 8:30 pm #2300163Jojo has been just awful tonight and several lack of effort plays…
November 19, 2024 at 8:40 pm #2300164Time for Hartman to skate through the crease and clip Binnington… he looks like he’s got a hair trigger tonight…
CaptainMuskyPosts: 22654November 19, 2024 at 9:00 pm #2300166Jojo has been just awful tonight and several lack of effort plays…
Insert most nights here.
CaptainMuskyPosts: 22654November 19, 2024 at 9:03 pm #2300167I realize it’s early and the blues aren’t real good but this a must win for the wild. They have been getting crushed by the central they need this one to build confidence.

Why? It’s worked flawlessly for me. Cripes, you don’t even have to watch as many commercials. They just throw up a “Commercial Break’ graphic.
You just seem to have an issue with every streaming service out there.
I agree with Joe, ESPN+ is awesome for watching other hockey games.
November 20, 2024 at 8:16 am #2300201The only thing i’ve noticed differently this year with ESPN+ is that it occasionally locks up the screen or goes to that “Your game will restart soon” screensaver, but then you just back out to the game menu and click your game again… just sucks when it happens during an overtime and by the time you get back into your game its over…

yeah, the part the bothers me is that there’s never any repercussions from Hynes for his bad play, yet if Rossi makes 1 questionable play he’s demoted to the 4th line…Rossi was a machine against the Blues, we’ve discussed his future with the Wild to death, but if they do decide to eventually move him, they better be really friggin sure his replacement is going to work out…

x3 – ESPN+ is great, especially after the redesigned app for this season. ESPN+ is how I watch every Wild game aside from the couple TNT and NHL Network games. If anyone can kick rocks it’s NHL Network since they don’t even have a streaming option, only place you can watch is cable.
Side note, I really like the Bucci and Mleczko and Kaplan crew who did the game last night
November 20, 2024 at 8:37 am #2300215Side note, I really like the Bucci and Mleczko and Kaplan crew who did the game last night
They are great, Bucci just needs to dial it back a little and he locks onto his favorite players for the entire broadcast and repeats himself over and over (how many Kaprizov spinorama mentions were there last night?) or when the Avs are playing and “NateDogg” starts “Dancing”…
I think both ladies do a great job other than Emily asking questions that are so short and have zero emotion…Faber’s 2nd period interview reactions to her quick monotone questions were hilarious…
November 20, 2024 at 8:39 am #2300216Everytime I watch a Wild vs Blues game I get more and more impressed with Robert Thomas… talk about an underappreciated player that NOBODY talks about (outside of St Louis)
November 20, 2024 at 8:49 am #2300219TSN just put out their annual “Top Core4 under 24” years old list and the Wild ranked #5 with Faber AA, Buium AA, Boldy AA and Wallstedt A (Rossi and Yurov were listed as B level prospects)
Players are labeled AAA (superstar), AA (elite), A (No. 1 goalie, top-pair defenceman, first-line forward) or B (tandem goalie, top-four defenceman, top-six forward) or C (backup goalie, depth defenceman, bottom-six forward). The strange part is that the Wild had the highest player rankings of their top 4 yet somehow sit at #5….

Are you out of market, use a VPN or something? I get all the other NHL Games on ESPN+ except the Wild. Last night and a few other games being the exception. I love ESPN+, lots of college hockey on there too.

How is this surprising to you? We are in flyover land. Recently Kaprizov had 2 goals and an assist yet he was the 3rd star even though the two above him had 2 pts.

I’m not surprised they went with Montreal as #1 (its a Canadian sports website) but ranking them #5 while using their own grading methodology is funny….

Ice CapPosts: 2157November 20, 2024 at 9:17 am #2300240Speaking of apps and streaming, Fanduel is far and away better than the Bally’s app was in terms of buffering or logging in issues. It’s actually worth the $20/mo. I watch the tvapp.to (for free) for many out of market games. The Wild wouldn’t stream on it last night because of ESPN having it locked down. But I was able to flawlessly stream the Jets/Panthers game on it last night which was a far better game than the score indicated. Two elite teams in a slug fest until a couple empty netters for the Jets towards the end.
I don’t want to hear from the NHL about growing their fan base until they stop spreading their games all over the streaming universe. You simply have to put games where people can find and watch them without having to buy a different streaming package all the time if you want to bring in new fans. Also not sure where Prime is going with their NHL streaming plans. The Oilers/Sens game was advertised as being on Prime last night. I couldn’t find it anywhere until I figured out it was only available to view in Canada. Chasing this poop around loses fans not gains them.

Yep, I pay for NordVPN it’s like $3.50 a month and am able to watch in market Wild games on ESPN+. I think this is season 4

Its the Wild West right now in terms of streaming platforms and solutions. This season is a big one in terms of NHL teams figuring out what works and what doesn’t as multiple teams are trying out their own streaming solutions (The Wild experimented with their own this preseason)
Hopefully alot is figured out this year and solid solutions are presented next season (I want to drop Comcast cable TV asap)
