the scary good thing about it is that he’s been absolutely snake bitten the first 10 games of the season, tons of pipes hit, spectacular goalie saves on him, etc…He could have 10 goals by now….

He’s gonna be fun to watch in a Wild jersey…

and some not so great prospect news, both Danila Yurov and Riley Heidt are now out with injuries…

Yes, but I’m worried the temptation will be to rush Ek and/or Brodin back into the lineup. No win at this point is worth that, there are way too many games left.

I figured Dumba was gonna do something dumb tonight. I think lauko lost his footing more than anything.

Did not love the idea of having to of our defensemen out at the same time. Not a great idea already down brodin.

Boldy at center for the first two periods was a big mistake, then Boldy – Rossi – Kaprizov dominated the 3rd…

Even with 3 key pieces missing, the Wild were not outclassed last night. Ottenger was leaning heavily on the metallurgy saves for the W. If they’d have had the Boldy, Kaprizov, Rossi line the whole game…

I don’t think we can draw many conclusions from that game except for the obvious, we need 3 top players back.

Friedmann reporting the cap is making a big jump to $95m-$97m range next season – that’s about double what it was supposed go up. Makes the Faber and Boldy deals that much sweeter and probably adds another million or two aav to the (hopeful) Kaprizov extension.

I though he said that’s what the NHLPA is ASKING for so it evens out the increases over the next 2 seasons because they expect it to make a monumental jump the following year…. I’m sure Gary will want something for the owners in return… Maybe I heard it wrong on HNIC…

either way the financial stars are definitely aligning for the 26/27 UFA superstars (McDavid/Kaprizov) to cash in…

Players haven’t asked for anything yet, but yeah that’s more or less it – just saying that he’s confident it’s going to happen so therefore I am too. He goes into detail talks about it for like 20 minutes and on the 32T podcast

The only person I trust as much or maybe more than russo is Friedman. I wish he’d bring back the COVID beard though that was epic

I think it adds another variable to the Kaprizov doomsday scenario of he doesn’t want to be in MN and won’t sign a long term contract. The Wild are then going to have a stupid amount of capspace to throw at player(s) who are available and will sign…of course its not ideal to overspend in free agency, but if that’s the only option, you gotta do it…

What’s holding Philly back as far as FA signings isn’t guys like KK wasting away, it’s that no free agent worth a crapping thing will sign up to play for that whack-job Torts.
