My god how bad are the Nashville Predators right now….

About as bad as the vision of the NHL linesmen that were officiating last night’s game in San Jose. How the hell could they miss those two blatent offsides calls that later canceled out Wild goals? Where are these officials coming from?

Even from the overhead view, I saw both of those were clearly offside in real time and on the second one, I even said to my son before we scored that if we score, the goal will be coming off. And what do you know…

And then there was the miss in the previous game where a damn referee was standing there watching Krill get a stick in the mouth and get a tooth knocked out. Blood all over the ice, no call. What the hell were they looking at?

Good play by the Wild last night, you have to win the games against the cellar dwellers as well. Nice to see a PP goal and SJ is actually pretty good on the kill so that was a positive.

Also, get the win with Fluery in goal so we’re both winning and resting Gus. I love Flower, but if this team is going anywhere it’s going to be with Gus as the starter against top teams.

We don’t play the Jets until 11/25, but IMO that’s become the must win this season. The road to anywhere beyond another first round playoff exit is going to run right through Winnipeg.

I dont think it is THAT important to beat WPG a split would be good, but lets beat up on the CEntral this year for sure! THat killed us last year.

There are zero must wins in November. Now would it be nice and help set a tone. For sure but to lose 3-2 to the jets in November is pretty meaningless.

Oh also saw a PP1 goal and 3-3 on the PK – special teams are back???

refer back to your expert analysis on the Sharks as a team…

Our PP1 group will run hot & cold all season and probably average out to around 22-23% (bottom of the top 10 in the league) but our PK is a whole other animal…I just don’t think we have the right players playing PK…not sure we even have the right players on the team, we’ve gone through just about every PK player combo the past 2 years and we’re still at the bottom of the league…PK systems are not complicated, but you need the right kind of players who can block shots, get sticks in passing lanes, win battles on the boards, clear the crease, etc… We can’t add goalie blame to the PK anymore this season…

More expert analysis from watching the recap is that Boldy had 2 goals but the most impressive play was a tape to tape 90 degree bank pass off the side of the net to Mojo for a one timer.

And then there was the miss in the previous game where a damn referee was standing there watching Krill get a stick in the mouth and get a tooth knocked out. Blood all over the ice, no call. What the hell were they looking at?

It was a puck ?? doah

oh I know… I think we need to make a trade for Ryan Reaves again…we could really use his elite skating on the PK….

I noticed this live last night and thankfully the NHL game recap video got it too…Did anybody else catch Boldy’s behind the net, off the angled lower pipe pass to Jojo? Now I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt here that he wasn’t just trying to go to Ek in front who was clearly covered with a stick lift…

IF he indeed did it on purpose (I think he did) then that’s next level $hit right there!

    Lol toast

    100% on purpose

Here’s 21 more minutes of Boldy being a beast from this season alone. Reminder he is now the age Kaprizov was his rookie season

yeah, I thought so too, he had Ekker open for a second before he did it so that’s why there was some second guessing…

That’s the kind of stuff you see them goofing around on after practice…implementing it in a game is ballsy…

I’ll admit I was not happy we passed on Caufield in that draft, but Boldy has been everything we could have hoped for…he’s just starting to really understand how to use his size, that will only make him better…I still would love to have Caufield’s RH shot on this team…

Don’t worry gents the pk is part of the five year plan. We are only on year 2 so relax.

Love how the first 2 clips are Boldy setting Jojo up for shots he whiffs on…You just wonder what our second line could truly be if they had another competent wing instead of Jojo showing up once every 5 games…

ESPN just showed that Ovi has missed only 59 games total in his 20 year career… Russian Tank never breaks….

He also got robbed of essentially 2 NHL seasons due to the lockout and 2 Half Covid seasons…

For his style of play, its just unreal…

I’ve been starting wonder if refs are just not making close calls at the blue line anymore because they’d rather be wrong and a goal reversed than be wrong with the whistle and the play actually be onside resulting in a blown offensive entrance. The nhl does want more goals…

I actually saw a shift last night where Trenin skated hard the entire length of the ice, made a power move to the net and almost scored…almost

I gotta give Freddy his flowers… he’s played pretty well the past 6+ games or so…

That Kaprizov kid is pretty good, we should try to re-sign him…I read that it appeared Hynes demoted Rossi for about 4-5 shifts early in the 3rd period, he then scored and goal and had an assist after being put back on the 1st line the last 10 minutes…. I guess Hynes knows when to push the buttons…

Middleton/Faber/Brodin are all on pace for career offensive years…that’s a welcomed offensive boost…

Seeing that call for penalty shot on foligno is pretty dang bad. His stick was under zegras stick and he didn’t hook him. Terrible call.

Hynes actually made it sound more like Khustidinov spelling was playing so fast and well he wanted to get him some looks on another line.

Great gap control and great play by BOGO on that breakaway.. He’s a strange player but for as experienced had he is he coughs it up on Defense a lot more than he should

Bogo has been great for a bottom pair defensemen. Exactly type player you need in that spot.

Boldy, Jojo and Spurgeon had no idea what they wanted to do on that OT shift, sweet grenade pass by Boldy to Spurgeon…

hard to complain about getting 5 of 6 roadtrip points, even if its against Sharks, Ducks & Hawks…

Yeah that game was about as hard to watch as the Vikings. I will take the point and move to a couple home games. Tied for most pts in the NHL I will take it.

Back to a page back, my problem with Trenin is there’s no hustle, no drive. He got the puck, wide open, in the high slot and literally took 4 seconds to shoot the dang thing.(few games back) He’s barely got one point through 15 games and 10 PIM. He’s not a guy that deserves 3.5Mil for the next 4 years.. That is all.

Yeah its really ridiculous. I think someone pointed out they did something similar last year and then fell way back to earth and then finished strong. I seem to remember that too.

no argument here, I’ve been saying that since about game 2 this season…apparently his fanclub thinks he’s been just awesome and is constantly blowing fools up with his big forecheck hits…

sofar it looks like a terrible signing…but its still early…he has no trade protection so there’s at least that, but you just can’t have guys making $3.5 on the 4th line and that’s where he looks to be playing for the next few years…that’s just terrible roster cap management…

I take back what I said about Boldy’s pass to Spurgeon in OT, it was fine, Spurg just skated right into 2 Hawk players and flat out lost the puck..
