A quick jaunt to the standings shows there is one team that hasn’t lost yet and one team that hasn’t won yet.

Winnipeg is 8-0 and San Jose is 0-7-1.

The question is, do you think the Jets will lose beforre the Sharks win or vice versa? jester

I think its a coin flip looking at both of their teams next few games. Toronto at WPG tonight is their toughest game by the looks of it

Well everyone’s 0 has to go! Lets hope the boys get back on track tonight it will be an emotional game for Flower!
He jumped in on a youth hockey practice yesterday, then apologized to the kid who he stole the net from. I am sure that kid was quite alright with it. What a class act!

Spurg playing tonight! Lets hope he survives!

Pregame show just played a few minutes of Spurgeon’s press interview this morning, when pressed by Russo he didn’t sound very optimistic that his injury issues are over with.. lots of careful answers and uncertainty… feels like its a situation of how much pain he’s willing to play through to stay in the lineup…

I don’t think sid did it but maybe. Still funny. Things escalated quickly with our patented secondary scoring.

Same thing happened last year, whatever is talked about here is likely to happen within a couple games.

That is some garbage penalties. Crosby is such a pansy. God forbid someone should body check him.

Who had a Faber fight on their bingo card? What a BS move by whoever that dude was and surprise the refs got the call wrong. Should be an additional 10 mins.

Such a pansy! Can sit on top of Faber and punch him in the head multiple times with a ref watching and nothing. Then desperately skates away like a little girl.

Kirill needs a new lower back pad… every single time he gets cross-checked in the back he goes down like he’s shot and then pouts to the ref. That cross-check play happens EVERY time any offensive player is along the boards, the refs only call it when it’s egregious…. I’m not saying it doesn’t hurt him, but I feel like the refs know he’s gonna go down if hit and think he’s embellishing it, He’s already done it twice tonight…

The cross checking penalty on Merrell wasn’t as bad as the multiple cross checks KK gets every game. Get what your saying but my word the inconsistencies in nhl ref’ing is mind numbing.

Crosby lays on top of Faber with a ref watching and glove punches him in the head multiple times, no call.

Cross checks Faber after the whistle like the little girl he is.

The slashes Brodin’s stick out of his hands to end the period.

Crosby is wickedly talented, but a little b I tee see H.

Crosby has always been like that. Not surprising.

Wasn’t it Darian Hatcher that lit him up as a rookie and he was crying on the bench afterwards lol

5-1-1 on the road trip. Wouldn’t have predicted that! Congrats to Fluery on the win. Well deserved.

When can Trenin be cut? He’s about as worthless as a football bat. I know eight year old’s that skate harder than him, not to mention is lone shot he had was pathetic to say the least.. There’s gotta be someone in Iowa that deserves the opportunity to take his place.

Have you seen their record? They just got their first win last night.

It will be interesting to see what lineup changes take place when Hartman gets healthy (likely this homestand) Will they have him replace Trenin on the 3rd line, Trenin goes to the 4th line and Ohgren goes to Iowa to play 20+ minutes a game… maybe they put Trenin in the pressbox for 1 game to send a message his game hasn’t been good enough, and then send Ohgren down? I don’t see them putting Hartman on the 4th line getting 6-8 minutes a game…

Pretty damn exciting to think about the way this team is playing and getting scoring from Gedreau, Foligno, etc.

Lots of stuff to like about last night’s win. Excellent comeback after going down 2. The team clearly has the confidence to say okay let’s come back and win this one.

KK has got defensive players completely baffled. Now he’s become a supreme setup man as well as a scorer. That pass to Zuccarello last night was just sick.

Here’s one that I think is flying under the radar. The Wild are tied for fewest penalty minutes against in the league. 41 minutes given so far. That’s making it really tough on teams that heavily lean on power plays. The wild just aren’t giving them anything to work with. IMO that’s been a major factor. The Wild are making teams have to beat them five on five and as long as the goal scoring on our end holds up that’s a really difficult proposition.

It would have been nice last night to see some PP scoring especially on those five on threes.

But on the good side at least the wild continue to punish teams for pulling the goalie.

Awesome win and road trip record.

I never thought a 7 game road trip would have ended like that with the teams they were playing. Yeah the Pens are fighting it a bit, but reigning champs, TB, Jets, Blues, etc. Impressive. KK is absolutely on fire! I hope his flame stays lit and doesnt have a flip flop of a typical season we need him strong when it counts too. Rossi is secretly 2nd in Pts 5×5 by centers. Who would have guessed that. Only KK is ahead of him on the team as well. It helps playing with those too for sure, but he isnt holding them back that is for sure.
